Comedy Central not renewing 'Sarah Silverman Program'
Comedy Central has decided not to renew “The Sarah Silverman Program” for a fourth season, a spokesperson for the network confirmed to CNN. Although Comedy Central didn't elaborate with a reason, a similar outcome was on the horizon last year when the network wanted to tighten Silverman’s budget, causing Silverman and her executive producers to threaten to quit over the dispute. In the end, Logo ended up picking up part of the tab for Silverman’s third season, with some of the episodes airing at midnight on the network.

What that guy said. Thank god. I hate her dumb sense of humor, she is not funny in the slightest. The only thing good about that show is Brian Posehn.
Who is Sarah Silverman anyway?????
She is hilarious. This sucks. She is really edgy and that should be celebrated. They will probably put somebody like Jay Leno on there with his safe corny jokes.
Sarah is hilarious, pushes the envelope and has a certain sarcasm that (sorry to offend) some just don't get. I love her and love watching her push buttons and make crazy, insane social commentary by taking things to the limit to do it. Love you Sarah!
Maybe it's just me, I think I have a pretty good sense of humor, but I really don't see humor in abortion or the death of Jesus ( even from an agnostic's viewpoint) or cruelty disguised as humor.
Sarah is extremely funny because she pushes the boundaries of comedy. Everything is fair game which is innovative, however the show wasnt up to par with her humor. She needs to go to another network with more boundaries since her comedy requires an adult atmosphere.
Finally! She is not funny.
someone once told me the only reason i liked her was because she was a cute girl who made poop jokes. She is also nice to her fans and i think she is pretty frakkin funny.
Sarah is a brilliant comedian!! One of the funniest and edgiest around, man or woman. She will be missed. I hope she goes to HBO where she can truly be unleashed!!!
She's funny in a strange way.....I can't really figure out why.....Maybe it's for two large reasons, the ones I find myself staring at?
Sarah Silverman is an idiot, she is not funny and is a total hyprcrite. She whines about comedians who make fun of fat women, but then constantly makes fun of mentally challenged CHILDREN. At least fat women have a choice to be fat, lazy and eat like crap, which is why they're fat. People BORN with DISABLITIES have no say in the matter, but it's okay for her to make fun of them, just because they are an easy target and she is too stupid to think of real jokes. She is total POS, has no talent whatsoever, and is also BUTT ugly. Say what you will about Chelsea Handler not being funny (agreed) but at least she is kind of nice to look at. I hate hypocrites, and this no talent waste of space Sarah Silverman is just that.
I love Sarah Silverman but this show wasn't very funny.

Sarah is a riot. She has the best abortion jokes in the business.
Too bad, but not a shock...I am a regular viewer and a big fan of Sarah as a comedian...the show does often have some really funny moments, but there are long stretches where it is more annoying than anything else.
Finally, some good news.
(And agreed on Chelsea Handler – another dismal show).

i agree with eastcoast6. Chelsea Handler and Sarah Silverman are both the un-funniest comedians I've ever seen. I'm glad Sarah's gone, and hopefully Chelsea moves on also...

As a comedian, Sarah IS funny. But the show rarely was. I wanted to like it, but lost interest midway through the first season and only occasionally checked it out afterward.
I wonder why? Maybe it's becuase she is NOT funny! I have no idea how she made it this far? Her voice is irritating and if are considered a comedian shouldn't you be funny? Jimmey Kimel is her boyfriend but does that make her a star? I think not. Bye Bye sarah and good riddens.
