Diablo Cody confirms pregnancy

Diablo Cody

The cat’s out of the bag for Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody.

Cody announced Tuesday, via Twitter, that she’s pregnant.

“Thanks for the congrats on my fetus! No secrets here; just thought it would be fun to see how big I could get before someone noticed,” she wrote.

Perez Hilton “outed” Cody on his blog Tuesday morning, reporting that “the Oscar-winning screenwriter...recently got married (to a nice, normal, non-celeb dude). And, Diablo is also pregnant and due to give birth soon.”

Since you want to play the "you show me" game, why don't you show me where it states that "I believe in those times the only religion was scientists".

Deutoronomy discusses the laws of killing a child within the womb.

Here is a question, prove Jesus did not die and rise again.

"Just because "science" coins a term does not mean it to be so. Not too long ago, science stated the earth was flat, that a heavier object falls faster then a smaller object,"

I believe that in those times, Religion was the only scientists, and anyone who dared argue with them was at best excommunicated, and at worst killed.

    Galileo, anyone?

Please tell me where in the bible it defines the difference between baby and fetus. Actually, tell me anywhere in the bible it says that aborting a fetus is wrong. And then you can explain to me while this nice little article about someone being pregnant, who made a movie about a teenager NOT HAVING AN ABORTION, has turned into this moronic discussion about JEEEEBUS AND TUH BIEBLE!

Great point! They are murderers and morons, like you state. The only difference is nobody disputes that fact. Some people like to call it a fetus rather than a baby, because it helps them justify killing it.

Just because "science" coins a term does not mean it to be so. Not too long ago, science stated the earth was flat, that a heavier object falls faster then a smaller object, and soon they will all proclaim that evolution was the biggest fraud theory perpetuated by man.

Liberal Idaho stated the bible is fiction. Look up how many great scientists believe in the authenticity of the bible. Look up how many scientifical facts are there long before they were "discovered." But you will not. Because you are the true hater. You hate God. You hate authority. And you hate the fact that you do not have it all under control. Gracefully, the Lord does not hate you and died so that you can have the opportunity to not see everlasting torment but live eternally in peace with Him. You hate this too.

Finally, there will be a judgment. And every word spoken by you all will be judged. When you are asleep tonight, realize you have no control of whether you wake up. Where will you be when you die?

And, Liberal Idaho, Psalm 127:3 states that Children are God's blessing to us. So one day whenever you were born, you were a blessing and not a fetus.

Heh. No wonder solely pro-lifers are so stupid (and unfortunately keep reproducing, much to the chagrin of the intelligent percentage of the food chain): they simply refuse to educate themselves, and take themselves too seriously.

A baby, before it is born, is called a "fetus" in scientific terms. It is not a miracle, it comes with a good, solid screw (sinner!). Which you wouldn't know because you've had your "brain" immersed in the book of fiction: a bible. Dog help your kid.

A solid sense of humor "Thanks for the congrats on my fetus" is funny to smart people, who appreciate worldly writers who make this world brighter with solid tales of elements such as–omigod–a pregnant teenager. Yes, they do exist in this world. Some of them are actually smart; although, your fearless grandma of a world leader, Sarah Palin, thinks this was an act of god.

Lighten up. But do your homework.

Wilma, you surely, shirley, worry to, 2, too, much about grammar. If it concerns u, ewe, you, y don't, do not you, start with ur, your own, informal writing. LIke capitlize the first letter of the first word, of each sentence. Capitlize nouns and names, such as mr smartypants, and use a period, after mr. and seperate smarty pants.
Plus, it is not easy to identify sarcasm within imformal blogs, or texting, such as this 1, one, won. People would have to read other writings of yours to know you are being sarcastic, or get to know you in person, as to know when you are be sarcastic, factual, or just hateful.

fetus = human lifeform inside the womb

baby = human lifeform OUTSIDE the womb

a fetus has the potential to be a baby, but it is not an actual baby. If it were an actual baby, it would be eligible for a SS#, it's own health insurance, government aid, and all that good stuff. But it's NOT. She is using the correct terminology – until she gives birth, she has a fetus inside her.

Using your own personal experience and belief system ("babies are miracles because I struggled to have them!" "babies are miracles because God said so!" (and WHERE does he say that, pray tell?) and using it to paint everyone's experience is not useful.

Wow, I can't believe I'm diving into the cesspool that is the CNN comments section, but I DO have a child who I love very, very much, and before he was born, he was a fetus, not a baby. We tried hard not to call him a baby when he was in utero, because he wasn't, though we did start to slip a lot near the end. Anyway, even if you think it IS a baby, it's a child not a choice, etc. - and all this is debatable - what's not debatable is that it's still a fetus, because that's the scientific word for what it is. You don't get to change the definitions of words just because they don't make you feel super spiritual and moral.

My child isn't a miracle, either. He's just the world's greatest kid. Isn't that enough? You people with your deep-seated psychological need to attach hyperbole and religious symbolism to absolutely EVERYTHING.

Derek, it's apparent you do not have children. Yes, childbirth has been around for thousands of years. But when you think about the randomness of fertilization and when you see how a child immediately has its own personality upon birth, you'll understand why each child truly is a miracle.
