Round and round she goes, where Paula Abdul will land, no one knows.
According to TheWrap.com, the former “American Idol” judge is reportedly in talks with NBC for “dance-themed series” to be helmed by choreographer Kenny Ortega.
The pair share a connection of sorts: Abdul used to be choreographer for Janet Jackson when the singer first hit it big, and Ortega was creative director of choreography for Michael Jackson’s ill-fated This Is It Tour.
They are also old friends. Abdul presented Ortega, who is also a director, with the Outstanding TV Movie Award in 2007 at the 9th annual Family Television Awards for his work on “High School Musical.”
Abdul had been rumored to be in talks to serve as host of a resurrected version of the hit talent competition “Star Search.”
