Watch the official "Eclipse" trailer

Since the first adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire romance series, "Twilight," appeared in theaters, the internet has been flooded with fan-made trailers for the sequels. But today, the trailer for "Eclipse" has finally arrived.

Three months before “Eclipse” opens in nationwide, fans can see now that they’ll be faced with a number of philosophical questions in the David Slade-helmed film.

“Why are you so against me becoming like you?” Kristen Stewart’s character, the human Bella Swan, asks of her fanged love Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.

Then there's Taylor Lautner’s wolfish character Jacob Black instructing Edward Cullen "to consider the idea that I might be better for her than you are."

And lastly the biggest question of all: will Bella end up on Team Edward or Team Jacob? (For those of you who know the outcome, try not to spoil it in the comments. Yes, millions of books have been sold, but not everyone has read "Eclipse.")

What do you think of the trailer? Share your iReport!

I saw the first movie before I read the books The books are great the movies not so good. I believe to really enjoy the movies you have to read the books first. I must say that the movie is not as complete as the books and it leave a lot out. Without reading the books you will be lost while watching the movies.

Eclipse was one of the more exciting of the books, and I'm kind of disappointed in the trailer! Hopefully the acting doesn't continue so emotionless-ly through the whole movie!

That aside, I can't wait to see it!

    Yay Team Jacob!

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Twilight, and I've learned a lot from it. For starters, I wasn't allowed to see the movie until I read the book. So after it had already come out on DVD, I decided to read it. I fell in love with it and decided to compare it to the movie. The movie was crappy, unprofessional, and I was completely dissatisfied. I couldn't believe I sat there and watched the whole thing. I had high hopes for New Moon. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I say it the day after it was released in theaters. I saw it with my best friend, and I loved having her there. I joke that we make each other "addicted" to books, and it's true. We both read every Twilight series book. We both got over it when New Moon came out, and she decided to pick up Vampire Academy. She was telling me about it, and I decided to tell her to shut up and give me that darn book! I am done with the first four books and can't wait for the fifth to come out in May! And the sixth in December... I must say that Twilight has a special place in my heart, but I LOVE Vamp Academy more than any book I've ever read. I saw this trailer and thought two things: Taylor Lautner is VERY hot, and it looks good. I was a little disappointed that it was ALL ABOUT Edward, Bella, and Jake, but it looks like it has the right level of intensity. I was also surprised, but I've got a feeling that since they're all getting the hang of it, that they'll all be much better!

LOVE the books. However the movies so far are leaving a lot to be desired in y opinion. I will still be going to see the final 2 movies with my husband, but my daughter isn't even allowed to read the last 2 books. I can't wait for "Breaking Dawn"

Of course the movies will not be as good as the books and that is the case most of the time. I have to say though, New Moon the movie was better than the book. The book dragged on and on, but the movie was better IMO. I persoanlly loved the books and I love the movies I have seen so far. Everyone will not like them, so to each their own. There is no need to bash on someone for liking something and someone else not liking it. I am ready for Eclipse, TEAM EDWARD!!!!

doesnt new moon come out saturday?
anyways, i enjoyed the books so much that i am in the process of reading them again. the movies employ some talented actors and actresses, but i hope they continue to get better as they progress through the saga. with eclipse, there should be more action and engagement. breaking dawn ( i hear it will be broken into 2 movies), should be a big hit. i have to admit though, i am a little jealous of edward and jacob. they get all the women.
    lol.

I have to agree with "Twilight Saga Reader", the books were good, but the movies just aren't up to snuff.

Thank goodness I work with someone who is a "Twilight" nut and buys the movies so I don't have to spend my hard earned cash on them.

The books were great! The movies up until now have been terrible... they look like an amateur filmed them. I don't get it! Hopefully the next one will be better... looking forward to it!

Ididn't read the books. If it were not for my love of vampire movies (hey, I sat through Dracula 2000), I would not give these movies a second look. I don't know how well the books are written but the movies are slow and meandering. The gimmick casting (Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen) they are employing to pull real movie lovers in is a classic ploy to prop up a mediocre movie. Quite frankly, if Bella chooses Edward over Jacob (which Victor has eluded to) , I really can't justify sitting through the next two movies. I'll wait for their cable release.

🙂 Can't wait! They're making Breaking Dawn into 2 movies, AND they're going to be in 3-D! 🙂 Anyone who talks crap about this series needs to get over it; it's a fun read and it's harmless.... and Edward makes me happy.

Of course we Twi fans will continue to wait anxiously for Eclipse! I went to Remember Me today though and you must see this movie. I was overwhelmed with this movie. Every actor in this movie was amazing. There wasn't one moment that lagged. It is definitely not a romance movie. I think all guys should see it too. This movie is about the trials of what can happen in real life and does. Everyone will be able to relate and I believe that just maybe it will show others that things happen in real life and its not just them. It is exceptional. Well done Rob and everyone else involved with bringing us this movie
