I don't like Monique's speech. She spoiled her moment. She was very defensive without anyone being offensive to her. Haha, poor lady but congratulations. Sandy has the best speech ever.
What about Mo'nique's speech. It was just a speech. Nothing more, nothing less.
Why is no one saying anything about Mo'niques speech? Let go of the chip on your shoulder already. She spoiled her moment.
I thought it dragged on too long. Not sure about the way they introduced each of the best actor/actress nominees with the little speeches. Next year I will record it and bypass much of the show to get to the main awards.
I thought it was one of the best Academy Awards shows ever. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were great hosts !
I didnt like the opening musical number with Neil Patrick Harris – he was off key and it was like an American Idol rehearsal
But from there on it was totally entertaining... even when there was almost a fight over the documentary short award when the guy ran down to accept the oscar but the lady he tried to leave behind caught up and snatched the microphone away from him – HA ! That was a hoot !
Hey Jill you should have watched, phony or not its always something talk about. Other winners that gave as good acceptance (not phony) as Jeff Bridges and Sandra ... umm.....i think they were the only true ones that stood out
I did not continually watch the show. I find shows as Oscar, Golden Glode so phony. Sandra Bullock "rocks." As does Jeff Bridges. Other winners ?
