Blame it on the apple juice, Jaime Foxx says

Jaime Foxx has taken home the Grammy for best performance by an R&B group or duo for "Blame it on the Alcohol."

"Thanks to the academy for granting us an award for a song like 'Blame It,' which is off the beaten path," Foxx told CNN on the red carpet before the show.

The message, Foxx said, "for the grown ups is that we party and have a good time," he said with a smile. "For the kids, we’re going to change the lyrics and say ‘blame it on the apple juice.' "

Foxx's sister, Diondra Dixon, made a cameo in the video for "Blame It," and the singer brought her along as his date.

"My sister has Down syndrome, but she’s not down," he said. "She’s a beacon and a light to a lot of kids out there who are in the same situation. She’s a regular girl."
