Here's what's going on in the world of entertainment:
- The Michael Jackson documentary "This Is It" will play advanced screenings as early as 9 p.m. on October 27 in around 2,000 theaters, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Moviegoers can purchase early tickets as early as Sunday.
- If you're looking forward to the upcoming "Sherlock Holmes," starring Robert Downey, Jr., you can now look forward to two of them, according to Variety. Warner Bros. is already in talks to have a sequel written.
- Not surprisingly, Variety reports that Fox has made the first pick-up for a new show this season, due to the success of "Glee." Now a full season of episodes will be produced.
- Legendary comic book character Archie isn't just getting married, he could be getting a movie deal. Variety reports that the CAA agency will seek opportunities in movies and television for Archie Comics Publications in the same way that Marvel Comics has done successfully.
- On DVD today: "Observe and Report," starring Seth Rogen, the direct-to-DVD full-length sequel "Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death," "30 Rock: Season 3," "Castle: The Complete First Season," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: Season 2," "Ugly Betty: The Complete Third Season," "The Mentalist: The Complete First Season," and "Law & Order Special Victims Unit: Year 10."
I wish the "flying nun" would get caught in the Bermuda triangle
I woke up this morning to 'Showbibiz Tonight' (love this program) but with my eyes closed, I heard Sally Field say that 'the people who oppose the health plan should be taken away' and 'they are mental ill'. Sally just displayed her IQ of -25 'To The Whole World – AGAIN'.
Thank You Showbizz for letting us see 'the nut case' in action. Boniva should cancel her contract for 'breach of mouth'.
