Here's what's going on in the world of entertainment this morning:

  • Ready for the upcoming "Spider-Man 4?" How about "5" and "6"? Sony Pictures has screenwriter James Vanderbilt ready to write fifth and sixth installments in the movie franchise, according to Variety.
  • In other sequel news, The Hollywood Reporter says that the Wayans brothers are readying a sequel to 2004's comedy hit "White Chicks."
  • Jay Leno is bringing in star power to kick off his upcoming new show. "The Jay Leno Show's" first guest will be Jerry Seinfeld, according to The New York Times.
  • The Los Angeles Times reports that two chairmen of Universal Pictures are in hot water for a less-than-successful summer movie season.
  • Baby news - People magazine reports that "Scrubs'" Sarah Chalke and fiance Jamie Afifi have a baby on the way this winter. Amy Ryan, best known as Michael Scott's ex-girlfriend Holly on "The Office," is also expecting her first child with boyfriend Eric Slovin, also according to People.
