McSteamy's "Grey's Anatomy" Exposed!What is it about the cast of Grey's Anatomy? Isaiah Washington gets in hot water for allegedly using an anti-gay epithet, then uses the word on television while denying he said it in the first place. Katherine Heigl wins an Emmy, then takes herself out of the running the next year and appears to blame the Grey's writers for not giving her good enough material. And now, there's a tape floating around Hollywood showing Eric "Dr. McSteamy" Dane and his wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, naked and apparently intoxicated with a former Miss Teen USA. The video - and no, we're not going to post it here; you savvy web surfers should be able to find it without any difficulty - shows the trio lounging in the buff at the apartment of beauty queen turned Hollywood madam Kari Ann Peniche. They laugh and talk, discuss what their porn star names would be, get into the jacuzzi, and so forth. You know, the kind of stuff most of us do when we're sitting around with friends - except for the videotaping it and letting the tape get out part! When will celebrities (and politicians, and athletes) learn? If there's an incriminating tape, or a photo, or an email, it'll wind up on the web faster than you can say "Well, I used to have a career..." Addendum: Dane and Gayheart's lawyer, Marty Singer, issued this statement to CNN:

Why isn't anybody outraged over the dissemination of the tape? Everybody here caws and cackles over the fact that it was made (which was certainly unwise) but not over a malevolent and uncontrolled gutter "press" which profited from its exploitation.
And I am appalled at the cruelty here about Gayheart's accident. Does nobody care about the facts? She didn't do jail time (and shouldn't have) but she did have to do community service, and that was the reason she had to leave "Dead Like Me." The little boy was crossing the street against the light without a crossing guard, and a row of cars was stopped in the right lane because the first driver saw him.
Gayheart may have believed the first car was being slow about making a right turn, but what she did was pull into the inner lane to pass the row. The little boy came out from in front of the forward car on her right, and she hit him before she saw him. Nobody claimed she was exceeding the speed limit or that she ran a light.
It's true that she was on her cell phone, which is important. But that wasn't illegal at the time, which means that thousands of other drivers could have (and some probably did) have similar accidents. I simply don't believe that nobody here has never allowed himself to be distracted by something while driving, if only a conversation with a passenger. She was in the wrong, but she's hardly a murderer.
She did not dispute the charges, plead extenuating circumstance, or attempt to evade responsibility. It's just the grace of God that has kept you or me or anybody here from hitting a child with a car. We've all made mistakes and misjudgments in traffic. She was not driving around L.A. looking for little hispanic boys to kill.
We'll never know how it has affected her, because it's none of our business, but the fact that she has expressed herself to the family more than to the public doesn't mean she's callous. For all we know, it haunts her every day of her life. The ugliness of people here making jokes about sex tape and then taking the moral high ground about a traffic accident is more obscene than anything ever recorded on a camcorder.

Can Rebecca Gayheart just stay out of trouble, already? I mean, did she sue anyone if that wasn't a crack pipe in either video? Now exposed with a Hollywood madam? I can imagine the script now in a Bruckheimer crime drama modeled after her exploits alone...
I completely agree with Heather – I will always remember Rebecca Gayheart – not for the roles on "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Nip/Tuck" or "Jawbreaker" – but that she pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter (on her cell phone, no less) for the death of that boy. No amount of charity work for Chysalis is gonna bring that life back. Ugh.

What a total dumbass. Why would anyone make a video of themselves naked, whether it be a sex tape or not, why? Who gets off seeing themselves naked...? All I can say is, stupid idea. They should now it would get out, there not invincible...

Who cares about this I am still thinking of the redundant comment Megan Fox made in a recentl interview when she called her director a brilliant genius. Dear God. I wish actors and actresses would go to college to better themselves. Where are the actors and actresses who had class and actually some love for their craft. instead of money making grubs with no talent. There!
Being a homophobic is not good for ratings. Being a sexual perve only helps McSteamy's character. Very good for ratings.

I have to agree with Jackie in Dallas, but unfortunately nowadays anything you do has the chance to be made public and now no matter what they do in the future, that will always be "hanging out there" (no pun intended.....)
Oh yeah, like this will hurt his career. Please. With the twisted views in this country, he will patted on the back for being naked with two women. The women are the ones who have to worry.
The lawyer says this tape was made SEVERAL years ago? How old would that make everyone involved?
As for the content of the tape...who cares? If He wants his crack smoking bisexual, wife who also happened to kill someone with her car, to have a threesome with a former miss teen who lost her crown after turning playboy exploit and madam then so be it.
There is a CRACK PIPE in that video! If you watch the video closely at one point Rebecca swings the camera past a table and if you freeze it you can see what is clearly a crack pipe on the table (which explains why they were acting all weird).
Rebecca was also photographed holding a crack pipe a few years ago in the National Enquirer.
The reason I always remember Rebecca Gayheart is because she hit that little boy with her car and killed him several years ago. Whether accident or reckless, I can't believe she'd want additional attention drawn to herself after something like this. I always associate her name with that tragedy.

While I laugh loudly when another Hollywood type gets caught with their pants down - in this instance, literally - there is a fundamental issue of privacy here. Even celebrities have the right to privacy. Unless they themselves release the tape, or sign a release for its distribution, whoever put this tape on the net is guilty of violating the rights of the people taped.
Yeah, it's funny, we think, when Paris Hilton's tape gets out, or Eric Dane and his wife are exposed on the net, but we are taking away their rights to privacy. That very insatiable appetite for knowing what the famous are doing is driving the papparatzi, the people stealing these tapes, and highjacking the emails and text messages of the famous. But I feel sorry for them, as well. Those of us not rich and famous do stupid things all the time, like video ourselves nude or whatever, but since noone wants to see them, we escape the embarassment. We won't be hounded to letting a drunk drive us like Princess Diana, just to try and escape for an hour or two.
So the comments on here, while I'm sure are funny to the posters and other 16-year old mentalities, are neglecting a serious question - when is the public complicit in stealing rights from the famous?

It just amazes me how stupid celebs can be. There is no excuse for ANY celeb not to know by now that if they run around naked, there is always someone close by, with a camera, ready to snap a photo or video tape them, and they don't do it just for fun....they do it to sell it and make money! I don't even feel sorry for them. They know it's going to happen and they do it anyway! I mean, why would they want to sit around naked so everyone can see them anyway? Disqusting!!
I saw the video and it was quite pathetic. I think their sex life has probably gotten so boring that they needed to resort to a threesome and drugs to get them in the mood...it was boring and it was quite disgusting to think that celebrities had to resort to making videos of such inconsequential events such as ordering something on the phone and giving credit card numbers...ewww... and it didnt even look sexy..it looked desperate....one thing is clear...I wont look at McSteamy the same way..more like McDrippy now...

Anyway, I saw it and it was very blah. The real laugh is Peniche talking about how she "drown-ded" something. Drown-ded? Wow, a burgeoning Rhodes Scholar is ever there were one.
You know what they say in Hollywood.. " any press is good press". When people stop talkin' about ya, you no longer matter. Maybe Mc Steamy thought people would forget about him over the summer hiatus. And since the show has gone down hill after Heigl and TR Knight left, maybe he's next..
