Well since I am at work and there is no streaming allowed I am thankful for the pictures, updates and commentary. I too am at a loss of words for this and have been touched by The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Rebee, Latoya, and all the rest. I have been there since 1972 as a kid watching any and every show that they had or appeared on. It was great seeing people that looked like me or my family or friends with extraordinary talent and energy. Listening to music was not a bad thing. Their music was good not nasty like some of the new songs. You can still listen to the music of Michael Jackson and know it was ahead of its time or soo different and classy or fun. I like the others our here who was truly saddened and considered crazy for feeling sad about someone I never met. But OH WELL I will listen to his music until I get tired! That will never happen! It my car, my home, my radio, my Michael Jackson.
If each of Michael's fans, myself included, sent $1.00 to LAPD, I'm sure we could pay for the cost of this memorial. I kknow I'd be happy to give this...after all, look at what Michael gave to us all!
RIP Mike... you were truly the greatest... you are in peace and with the angels now:)
I am watching the memorial right know and I cannot hold back my tears. I loved him so much and always admired his love of life and his sincere love for the world. Michael loved his fans and we will ALWAYS love him. No bogus accusations,or hurtful teasing could ever take away who he was to us. I was fortunate to see him perform live at the Shrine about 10years ago and he tossed us red roses and blew kisses after he performed!! He was such a giver with a heart bigger than this world. Let's keep him alive in our hearts and spread his message of peace and love for each other. PEACE... I love u all!
Goodbye already.. I hope now we do not have to watch the same things over and over on every form of media known to man. He was the catalyst for his own demise Too bad this much attention and concern was not given him in life to save him from his demons and heal his dismal personal life. Where were all his friends then? His money and fame certainly did not buy him peace or happiness Life is not lived on a stage..The same people that enabled his death are now mourning it. I guess their golden goose being gone has that effect. Maybe someone in his family should have sot Dr.s that truly would have helped him heal instead of watching him sit in a tree in his fantasy world.
I am so so sorry about Micheal Jackson's death. He was a good singer of pop I will alway's love him and love him like if he was my Brother or a Friend we will never forget you Michael Jackson......
Michael I loved you since I was 4 years old...I feel like I lost a part of me. You will always live on in my heart. R.I.P I love you
Michael Jackson is truely the best..... He has redefined best.......!!!
People all over the world are mourning him... The world will not
be the same without him... We have lost a bit of each of us with
him.............I am watching his farewell as the rest of the world is...
This is a global mourning, larger than any where close to even
Princess Diana, whom we all loved and connected with..
That is what all of us made us connect with him.... his music
and his ability to connect... the ability to show us and perform
what we all probably dreamt of .. ...
God Bless him. May he now rest in peace....
You have got to be kidding me. With all the problems in the world, millions are being spent for security, and watch parties are being held for him. Yes, he could sing and dance, but people are acting like he was some sort of God. Where are our priorities? People need to get a life.
