Linda was you there with the family to see that they was weird or are you just making speculation to the fact? If you was not there then you cant say. It is a joy to turn on the TV and see things about him and his family. I dont morn for him or his family but i rejoice in his life that is eternal with God now. RIP Micheal and my thoughts and my prayers go up for the whole family.

OK, Enough...So Michael Jackson is dead. You people are acting like he was GOD. Give it a break.. I will be so glad when he is buried and this is all over with. His whole family are weird. He was the worst of all of them. And Joe Jackson...well can't even go there now...You can't even turn on the TV without hearing about him.JUST LET IT GO PEOPLE!!!!!

Allen, you cannot compare the 2 when it comes to sales. People get their music in so many ways now, it is almost impossible to track. See the article below:
And the people who are singing in the streets now are doing it to celebrate his life. He was just a joyful soul. There was no one like Michael and never will be again.
Michael Jackson album sales explode since death

LOS ANGELES — Michael Jackson’s album sales have exploded — three of his albums are in the top three spots and 2.3 million tracks have been downloaded in the United States since his death, Nielsen SoundScan said Wednesday.

Album sales for the week through Sunday hit 422,000 in the U.S., up from 10,000 a week earlier. The week’s tally was greater than all the Jackson albums sold from the start of the year to June 21.

The top three albums were “Number Ones,” ”Essential Michael Jackson,” and “Thriller.” The Black Eyed Peas’ latest CD came in fourth.

The 2.3 million digital downloads for the week was a record-breaking rise from the 37,300 the previous week. No single artist has sold more than a million digital tracks in a week since Nielsen began counting in July 2004.

When adding in all Jackson 5 songs as well as sales in Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, digital downloads for the week hit 3.3 million, up from 52,000 the previous week, SoundScan s

Michael Jackson was a great perfeormer but ihis death is turning into a circus. Give the ma decent and respectable funeral and let it go. It almost seem like there is jubilation by many claiming to love him. Elvus and MJ comparisons. When Elxi died there was sadness around the worl. Tears. MJ seems like mostly dancing and singing befoer he is evn laid to rest. Elvis, radios staions around the nation devoted mos all air time to Elvis. MJ, we can hardly find a song. He should have had time devoted to his misic. TV. Elvis tributes and, movies came out showing respect. MJ, gossip and the same stories repeated over and over. Elvis was buried in a loving service with over 100,000 of the public in the streets and memorials that day around the world. Houist, Tx had an est. 40,000 at the service here. MY still had not got his service and celebrations are for joy not a remebrance that you would have for a loved one. AS in life, MJ is not given his just respect. The comebacks. Elvis had a comback in 1969 that lasted till his death, contrary to what CNN has reported. Four years of continual to 10 and # 1 hits on the Hot 100, A/C and Country Charts and every concert was solad out till his death, inlcuding the tour he was leaving on the day he died. The top 100 hits and top 10 Country and A/C #1's and Top 40 hits didn't enad for years after his death. MJ, his comeback never happened but would have surely been a overwhelming success. The last time MJ had ahit record? Elvis sold 25,000,000 the first week after he died. RCA closed most all production except for producing Elvis albums 24 hours a day. No sure what of any figures on MJ but have not heard near that. He should double what Elvis did in todays market. Letr MJ rest. Give the man a decent and respectable burial and stop the repeat reporting of mostly rumors. Give the true fans what they want, videos and songs, not gossip. Report something when facts are known.
