'Twilight's' Pattinson here to stay

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson has confirmed that he will be filming the next three movies in the vampire series based on Stephenie Meyer's books. Pattinson is currently filming "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," which is scheduled for release in November.

George Clooney has found a studio for his new comedy, "Men Who Stare at Goats." The film stars Ewan McGregor and Kevin Spacey alongside Clooney.

And Green Day has released a new album titled "21st Century Breakdown." The band sold 200,000 copies in just the first few days.

CNN's JD Cargill has more on these tidbits in today's buzz:

Have I missed something here? 5 comments all referring to American Idol yet this blog entry is only about Clooney, Pattinson, and Green Day...

I think the best over all packages as an entertainer and start quality was Alison or Gokey. Kris got the young teen girl vote and those who despised the over dramatic metro sexual Adam. He just plained screamed to hi pitch for me. Kris was just ordinary and boring. If Adam was not in the finals and either Gokey or Alison was standing in the final two. They would have beat Kris. Its still a popularity contest for young teenage girls and gay guys. Not to mention old ladies in the 40 and 50's.

I was very disappointed in the result and the show. I felt Adam has much more talent at the time than Kris. Kris is talented, but they are just not at the same level of talent. Adam is the full package deal and a real on-stage performer.

I was sad to see those voted off (bikini girl & goofy guy) back for the star-packed finale. Idol does not need to waste their fans time like that.

I thought that both guys were very talented. Adam was really different and I believe he will make it anyway. Kris was also very talented. You know the public has spoken, why make it a Gay thing or a Black thing.

Let it go and best of luck to both guys.

It really doesn't matter because Chris is a great arranger and will have a termendous career as such & Adam will be a super star with or without the title. Adam's future was sealed the minute he sang his first note at the auditions and everyone knows that. Maybe that's why they voted for Chirs, to give him the break he needs to go on to great arranging for the industry. Alison will also be a star as will Danny.
