Jon & Kate Plus Date?As new tabloid reports surface that reality TV star Jon Gosselin has been stepping out on his wife Kate with another woman, the famous father had this to say to Showbiz Tonight; "These allegations are false and just plain hurtful. As I adjust to the the attention that comes from being in the public eye, I need to be more careful and aware of who I am associating with and where I am spending my time. But the bottom line is, I did not cheat on Kate. I am sorry for putting my family in this awkward position, given some poor decisions and bad judgements I've made recently. Say what? After 38 happily married years, my husband and I are totally taken aback by this extremely rude and generalized remark. Our vows are–and always have been–sacred and unbroken. No overnights with *anyone* has ever crossed our minds.
If I may generalize, why not take a look around you? There are many, many people who would *never* take part in a nocturnal *whatever*. I would like to think that we are in the majority.
And no, we are not fundamentalists.
I cannot imagine what it is like to not only have 8 children when you are so young but to raise them in the public eye. Part of the problem is the "inconsiderate" papparazi. Why can't they just leave this family alone and let them have some privacy. I can understand Jon's frustration at wanting to be his own person and it seems no one will let him be. After all, he is the father and the man of the house. Kate does seem very demanding of him but look at what she is going through also. She too has worked hard, always trying to do what is best for their children. You can see the love they both have for their children. Up until recently you could see the strong love and bond between Jon & Kate. I pray for the family that they will be able to work this out and stay together. There is nothing in this world more important than love, especially of family.
I am so sick of everyone pointing the finger at Kate! She has every right to do or buy something nice for herself! People should start focusing more on Jon. Obviously, this whole stink has seriously hurt their relationship. I feel bad for Kate and the kids.
I don't think he did anything. Everyone has a friend of the opposite sex that you may bump into by chance and make a night of it to catch up. I mean just because they were seen together doesn't mean he is cheating (although if he did I wouldn't blame him since Kate is forever treating him like the help and not the love of her life). If they end their show I don't know if they would have enough money to support their family. For instance if you see the show Kate likes to buy organic foods that tend to be much more expensive than can or frozen plus the kids are getting older and clothes get more costly but who knows maybe they have enough from the past 4 seasons.
Jon was tired of living in a fish bowl. but what he did was just wrong I guess I am just old fashion. If you fall out of love fine but get out of the marriage first. Just my though
Jon may have put himself in a bad position, and who is really to say if he cheated on her or not, but can any of you imagine being married to such a self absorbed money hungry person who is out for the quick buck at the cost of her family? I know with all of the editing nothing is ever what it seems, but she is the reason the show is coming back for a 5th season, not him. He did not want it, but she did because she is an absolute drama queen and loves the attention. Stop being so quick to judge him because all that is coming out in the media is Kate's slanted view of their little world.
Not to shabby Jon for the $ you made pimping your kids out for us to see. So be a little more careful about stepping out at night flashing your wheels around with your lady friends.

I don't believe in budging in on people and their marriage but when you put it out there with a promise (Times two) you owe the world and your wife a little more then lies.
Jon is the one who placed himself in this awkward position!When our 3 were little the last place you would have found my husband or myself,was at a bar with a member of the opposite sex.If we had any spare times it would have been spent with each other or out as a couple!!Something is up here,I hope this couple work on themselves through counseling before their situation goes from bad to worse!!
Do we not have bigger things to worry about? Let the first one without sin cast the first stone. These are good people, pay thier bills, feed their kids, they have clean clothes and warm beds. Is it just that you cant find anything else wrong with this family?
I agree with Sherry, I don't think Jon cheat on Kate, their are too many cameras around, he is not that stuped, give them a break

Just leave them along, they have enough to worry about and take care of. They don't need any more difficulties.
