Top 4: We now have our final three

** SPOILER ALERT: Wednesday night’s blog reveals the contestant leaving the show. Do not visit this entry of the blog if you do not want to know the results. **

It's over, and I'm a little sad.

And a tad bit surprised. It didn't quite shake out quite the way I thought it would.

Ryan says he thinks he'll be playing Allison's records on the radio real soon. Do you agree? Is she destined for a career like Chris Daughtry's?

We want to hear from you. Post your comments below or head over to iReport to submit videos of your reaction.

Top 4: The one going home is ...

Allison Iraheta

The remaining three are center stage and the second person safe is ... Adam.

Well, duh!

We are down to the final two, Allison and Danny, and the person going home is ... the little rocker chick!!!

Awwwww, the last girl standing is no more. She sings "Cry Baby" again and cries a little.

Hold your head up high, Allison, because you left your mark on "AI!"

Top 4: Chris Daughtry is coming home

I remember when Chris Daughtry was eliminated on "Idol."

Chris Daughtry

What a shocker that night was. Good to see him and his band Daughtry on the "Idol" stage.

If their new single, "No Surprise," is any indication of what their new album will be like, I am ready to download it now!

I love it when an artist can perform live and really rock it out.

I felt like I was at a concert, and I still can't believe he didn't win "American Idol."

No worries though cause Chris Daughtry is a superstar and the band gets awarded a plaque acknowledging more than five million sales to prove it.

Rock on Daughtry!

Top 4: Backstage drama and first of the final three

They make the contestants go backstage.

I had totally forgotten about the hometown visits for the top three. It was great to see Elliot Yamin's mom in the flashback, may she rest in peace.

The finalists are going to be announced in random order, so we don't get to hear who was the lowest? Boo!!!

Ahh, the tease with the recap of everyone's performances last night.

And the first one sent to safety is Kris!! Holy smokes!!! Even he can't believe it!!

Top 4: Gwen Stefani leaves No Doubt

Boy did I miss No Doubt!

No Doubt

It's good to see Gwen Stefani and her wife-beater with the bra straps showing back with the fellas.

They perform "I'm Just a Girl," and Gwen's voice seems to have matured from the early years. Not sure why she felt compelled to do some push-ups, but I get that her body is still sick after two babies.

I think her vocals might have sounded better if she didn't feel the need to run all over the place. Still, it was fun in a comic-book kind of way.

Ryan is so cheeky with his "Hi babe" to Gwen. I'm excited that No Doubt is going on tour. I'm just a fan!

Top 4: Paula Abdul is forever our girl

Paula sold more than 53 million records? Impressive.

Paula Abdul

Her new song, "I'm Just Here for the Music," is what it is. I'm not sure what modern-day computer program was used to enhance it, but the song was definitely a throwback to the Paula of old.

I will give it up to her, though, because she looks incredible. This chick never seems to age!

She was giving me a little Vanity 6 circa the early 1980s with that bustier, but if you got it, flaunt it like crazy, why doncha?
