Top 7: The bottom threeI really need Paula and Simon to focus on the show and stop whatever nonsense they are whispering to each other. Kris and Lil are up next. Simon gives Kris some belated love, telling him he was brilliant. Lil gets to speak, yet again, on her song choices. Kris gets asked to take a seat - on the couch - and Lil gets sent to the bottom three. Then it's down to Matt and Danny. Either way it goes with these two, some folks are going to be upset. Danny's glasses are back, and Randy tells him he "worked it out" last night. Danny is safe, and Matt is back to the bottom three. So our bottom three are Anoop, Lil and Matt. I think every single one of them deserve to be there. It only lasts a second as Anoop is sent back as safe! Either Matt or Lil is going to have to sing for a spot. Good luck!

Get your facts straight.
AnoopFan: I don't think range or glory notes have anything to do with it. A lot of the singers you hear on the radio have limited range. It has to do with the whole package or "it" factor, which Adam has for sure. While I like Anoop, I wouldn't pay to see him in concert.
Oh and BTW, Clay broke a 10-year record with his debut CD. His singles have also broken records. So I don't think you can put him in your list of those who "can't sell albums."
I am glad to see some lil supporters on here finally. If song choice is the only thing the judges can ride her on, then watch out cause other than poor song choice she will be around till the end.
Remember disco is dance music so it will not hurt adam,Lil or Matt ,Allison may slip a little but not much.
AnoopFan, it makes me sad to think that Anoop will go home. I love his voice. I rewound and rewound his song this past week – I thought he was the best singer of all of them. I hope we are wrong and Lil and Matt go home. I would like to see Anoop in the bottom 3. Actually, I would like to see him against Adam, but that will not happen, guaranteed!!!
Its really not about talent anymore. These singers have to be marketable as well. Justin Guarini mega talented, Taylor Hicks was oozing with talent, Clay Aiken, Bo Bice, Jennifer Hudson, Melinda Dolittle, Ruben Studdard, and the like. The problem is none of them with the exception of Jennifer can sell albums. So while I'm a huge fan of Idol, they don't want to be stuck w/ the same problem they had in years past. So part of it is marketing imagery, balancing talent that will get you to Idol. They want someone who is a complete package. Although I don't agree w/ the life style choices, I think Adam Lambert clearly has it. Allison's voice has a limited range and is not as diverse as Lil. The same goes for Danny. His range is limited and Kris and Matt's voice at times can be very light. Anoop has consistently worked on his voice and that power note he hit the other night was unbelievable! So the strongest of the group are LIl and Anoop. Unfortunately those are probably the two that will be going home next week. As we have seen popularity wins not talent.
Ok, so this is the third time Anoop is in the bottom three. America has gotten it wrong. For two weeks now, he sung circles around Kris and Matt. I'm a huge fan but I'm concerned about him now that next week two contestants will be going home. Anoop has a rawness about his voice that makes you think this musta been like what Bryan Adams sounded like w/ soul. Lil is still undecisive about her song choices and well I'm ready for her, Kris, and Matt to go. Leave Anoop, Allison, Danny and Adam to battle it out.
I'm really getting sick of Ryan messing with these kids and they aren't even so sure if they are in the bottom three or they should just sit down. Just tell them, please! It really isn't nice or funny!
I quite often agree with Simon the Terrible and also feel that Matt cannot win the competition. Look, it's all for TV ratings anyway. The contestants who are talented, like Matt, will get a contract. I think he is amazing but some weeks he's chosen some lame stuff and not sung it well. Who advises these kids anyway? Although I guess the performers can ignore advice. Whatever, I look fwd to the show every week.
Lil is megatalented. I think they set an extremely high bar for her because she was so outstanding early on. But surely someone could work with her to spotlight "artistry." she's beautiful, great attitude, great pipes. Go Lil. And BTW, I thought Allison's performance was terrible on Tuesday, and I'm a big fan. But she seems to be the "anointed one". Maybe it sounds different live in the theater??? Anyone agree with me on Allison?

Without question, Lil is more talented than all of these people. Just like they were wrong about Jennifer Hudson, they are wrong about Lil. She's easily the most talented singer on the show. Granted, she hasn't always chosen the right songs, but she and Anoop without question have the best voices on the show. Matt and Danny need to go NOW! They suck!
I agree with the Simon/Paula thing. It really shows disrespect to the contestants.
I think they should have saved their "save" for someone who really might win and doesn't get voted through.
Who cares if l'il rocks next week on disco night. Should we forget that she has sucked EVERY week until now!? That unfair to the others who have been bringing it EVERY week! Send her home she has already blown her chance as far as I'm concerned.Sorry. Leave poor miley alone for age she has gone really far and is a decent "american idol" for our young ones to look up to. What's wrong with you people???? I have two kids and I am grateful they like her, she's clean cut and inspiring an honest,down to earth kid!

I feel the judges wasted the save on Matttttttttttttt.
Lil is a really good singer. You haters need to quit hating on Lil. If Lil doesn't win American Idol it won't matter, because she will still be successful, just like Jennifer Hudson. I haven't seen very many Idol winners do well anyway. Best Wishes Lil!!!!!!!
The haters need to lay off of Lil because have you noticed how the judges never can say to her that she was pitchy as they randomly tell the others. The girl just can sing! She needs to receive more credit for her performances because of how she never messes up; the judges just don't like her song choice. Well duh! These won't be the songs she has to sing on an album.
I ditto what she told Simon last night...it was time for that comment. The judges want to see what kind of album the contestants would make, and Lil is showing them...an R & B album. Like she said, she's an R & B and gospel singer, so every song, her own twist, as they request, will be R & B. What else can the judges or America expect? Give her the credit she deserves. She is just so sincere when she sings...I love her, and she will continue to get my 40+ votes each week.
I agree. The judges play around too much. Paula and Simon need to get a room, already. Randy and Kari are more professional. Simon hinted that his contract is up. Good. Take Paula to London.
I think Anoop should be top 3. Nothing too special about Lil and Matt, though they are all very talented.
Disco will be Lil'sbest performance next week..she just have to take a Donna Summer song and make it her own.
TWO will go next week. They all better be on their game!

I think she alienated the judges last night, 007. I might have agreed with you a few weeks back, but now I'm not so sure.
so long Lil is right. She's been in the bottom three for a couple of others weeks! They only wanted her to sing R&B and she wouldn't so she's gone.
The save will definitley be used on Lil she"s got the talent.
It is Lil. She has not been bringing in the "artist" in her alive on the stage! 🙂
