Top 8: The person who is safe is ...Lil Rounds! She gets to try again next week, and I hope she pulls it together because viewers are clearly getting tired of her lackluster performances. Now Anoop looks worried.

Lil was the only savable one in the bottom, but there was an excellent chance they would want to save someone further into the competition.
Adam #1, Allison #2 , Danny/Matt/Lil # 3, Kris # 4 & Anoop to go next.
unless lil finds her self she will be going home very soon.danny is a crowd favourite but he not much of a singer,and hes not all that diverse.his renditions sounds almost the same,my top four are adam ,allison,kris and matt. we need to vote for the contestant on their abilities and not only their likabilities.the is a talent show.
The saved ones are going to be Danny, Adam and Anoop.
adam is the greatest and he should win. I thing the 16 year old girl should give Adam a run for the top. As far as I am concerned they are the best two. Get rid of Lil, she has a voice but she seems to scream every song and I can't wait for it to be over.
She needs to go! Oblivously for political reasons once again they are keeping someone on there like Ruben who will never amount to anything. She can't sing a variety of songs and she only stayed this far because of Randy and Simon. Reality is reality.
Lil seems to be trying to please the judges. She needs to just sing.
Good riddance to Lil next week. She's not talented enough for this show. She's always flat. It's almost like she can't hear the music. Someone get the hook and get her off my TV.
Lil is on her way out in the next round.
I wish that Lil would just take the wig off and be herself again. Go back to where she started by just singing the songs and the words that got her on the show in the first place. We loved her rawness at the beginning of American Idol and we are still waiting for it. Her rawness can come in the way of a fast or slow song but either way if she does not find herself this coming up week we will never see her again. Lil I am waiting for you to find yourself and reveal it to us again. Sing what you know girl !!!!!!!!
Lil needs to go. I originally thought she had a great voice but lately she's been off-key and flat A LOT. Bye, Lil.
I was kind of hoping she'd go tonight. Personally I would have preferred Scott to stay instead of her. He wasn't going to win, but I still liked him better than I like her.
I do still think her time is coming anyway.
I give her another week or two maybe, but I don't believe for a minute that she's going to be here until the end..and I also don't think they'll save her given the chance.
Lil is so at ease when she is singing the group numbers. She is confident, and shows 'who she is' when singing in the group. She needs to study the film clips of herself with the group and compare her performance ease with her solo numbers. If she can find that ease and identity in her solo performances that is clearly there in the group numbers she would do much better. Her voice is great, and would record well but needs to find her uniqueness. Good Luck Lil,, you're just on the edge, push yourself over!

why kid yourself - selecting. they all sound the same. close your eyes can you really tell any difference-- songs the same, singers the same -- and ----you can predict what the judges will say.
Not even close. Lil is worse than Danny, Allison, Adam, and Kris. I wouldn't put her much ahead of Matt... I think Anoop goes next week (doesn't seem to have a big fanbase), and Lil follows him out the door the week after, although I fear the judges might save her... She doesn't deserve it.
The judges have been pimping Lil from the start and I really wanted to like her. I voted for her early on to keep her in the competition over other less talented people. Unfortunately, she hasn't really delivered an authentic performance since being named to the Top 13 and this week I decided not to vote for her any more. That's not to say that Lil doesn't have a good voice – she does. I just don't think she's very comfortable on stage, doesn't seem to enjoy performing very much, and does not appear to be very connected to the songs. It seemed that the judges finally recognized that she lost her mojo and won't be a top contender. I think they envisioned an Adam, Lil, and Danny Top 3 and they're not going to get it.
It was actually past time for Scott to go. His talent is at the piano... but American Idol is a singing competition, and Scott's voice simply doesn't make the grade.
My prediction for the final four: Adam, Allison, Kris & Danny
However, in order for Danny to make the cut, he's going to have to really turn it on. For the last several weeks, his performances have been lackluster....or else I'm just growing fatigued since they all sound alike. I'm growing bored with his performances.
Unlike Danny, Kris is coming on strong and is increasing his popularity with interesting renditions and his obvious marketability.
Adam and Allison are simply the best singers in the competition, with Adam being the best by a mile!

Good, Lil has a lot of talent she has yet to show us. Scott is very good, but he's done his best.
Lil, along with Danny, have turned out to be the biggest disappointments for me. Both on fire in the beginning, and now just boring since their songs all sound the same.
Lil is going next week or the week after at the latest....They have to save her this week....They cant have 6 guys and 1 girl!!!!
Trust me, Scott's going home.
If not, then many people are voting for the wrong reasons.
She needs to work on her attitude as well if she wants to continue to survive.
