BRING HER BACK** SHE WAS AWESOME COMPARED TO ANOOP, TO THE JUDGES ARE WE WATCHING THE SAME SHOW?
They should have let Michael go.. I think he did a terrible job.
Adam definately should have been the one to go on Wednesday!! Although his performances and arrangements are unique, I absolutely agree with Kara's perplexed reaction to THIS weeks performance!! It was bizarre. Although the arrangement itself was kind of cool, it was an injustice to the original and, in a sense, rude. These guys need to show their own diversities while also proving they are able to perform in a variety of styles! That's kind of the point.
Megan should have been voited off last night! Her voice is bad, tattoo is terrible and what a wierd dance she does. Alexis needed to go also because her song and vocals were bad. When the last person is standing it will be Adam!
Alexis has a lot of talent and a great look. She should not have been eliminated. I am VERY disappointed. I hope she resurfaces in another venue. Idol made a mistake last night.
This just proves that on Idol, your back story is more important than your vocal ability. She had an amazing performance with "Dirty Diana" – though the judges unfairly ripped her apart (if Alexis oversang the song, then what do the judges think Danny and Adam do to every single week?!)- and still the judges say she had 2 bad weeks. This season is shaping up to be an exact copy of Season 2, results, disappointing winner sales, and all. It will come down to a guy/guy finale', and the winner will fail because "stage personality" and back story don't usually come across on an album very well.
And to touch base on the "Judges Save"- it is painfully obvious that they only intend to save 1 of 2 people- Danny or Adam. Having the contestant "sing for their life", while singing the song that got them eliminated, is a horrible idea. At the end of the day, America will NOT agree with whoever they save, because they will have already eliminated them. Lame concept, lame results last night, and it really doesn't matter if it's Adam or Danny- neither one reaches more than a very select audience- nothing about them would expand across the board
Absolutely, the wrong decision. She was one of the few that actually could sing! I won't be watching anymore.
Alexis sang a bad song, but !!! it was country and there was no mistaking it was country!!!
The guy who sang the JC song in no way could be related to the THEME country!!!! So the judges and fans had it all wrong, the guy should of been sent packing for NOT singing country.
The comments above have it right girls 11 to 15 are who judge and make the idol, not music lovers.
Like the other comments I too can find something else to do with my two hrs each week, and I'm so finished watching this show!!!

No worries, you can take your daughter to see Alexis on her OWN tour. The buzz is that she signed a recording contract after the show. So tell your wee one to hang in there and she will see Alexis soon!
She was my favorite. The judges really blew it this time. Making singers sing genres that do not suit them isn't going to find the best singer in the group. Let them do what they do best and then let us judge them.
Thanks for saving me $100 AI! Since you allowed the blind guy to live another day I will not have to spend $100 on taking my little girl to the tour when it comes to Atlanta. She did not understand why he stayed and the blond girl left. I told her thats entertainment and she said why do we have to go to Atlanta to see this show. I told her we didn't..... Pretty smart for a 4 year old. She nows good talent when she sees it.
Now I will probably have to take her to go see the "Wiggles".......
Mike Sarver should have been out weeks ago! He is not professional material, and pales in comparison to Alexis Grace. Alexis is pretty, dynamic, entertaining, AND has the much superior voice. Americans often 'get it wrong' though. Just look at Bush Junior having served not one, but two terms! LOL.
alexis is one of the best singers they had... sarver is ok, scott is ok, but one of them should have gone home instead. obviously the people voting have no idea what they are doing, yet again...
I liked Alexis and for Randy to have not remembered her name was awful and that is just for starters. She definitely should have stayed. I'm not saying that Sarver was great but Scott McIntyre should have gotten the boot. He's not an idol and certainly not anyone that would fill a stadium like Underwood or Clarkson. And really, leaving a 16 year old in that probably won't go too far in this thing anyway. It's my least favorite Idol season yet.

I can' t belive ANOOP is still on the show, he sucks and so does tatoo girl. They were right to SAVE their "save", they'll need it further down the road....
A big mistake-she had a big enough voice to make the tour. Sarver (with the family story) is a wise a** know it all. Look how he responded to the judges as if he knew something about the music business. He's pathetic and out next. Would have rather seen Alexis on the tour.

This exposes the weakness of the show........ it's more about who has the stronger voting block than talent which translates into the market potential of the contestant. AI is basically pseudo market segment analysis where the music czars are the only real winners.
Michael Sarver is the one who should have gone home. He's an arrogant hillbilly, and Alexis has way more talent. Shame on the voters ths week!!
While the last song was not her best, I would have preferred her to stay. There are 3 on the show that have a chance of selling songs, Adam, Megan, and Matt. Megan has a cool "Amy Winehouse lite" style, Adam is an original with an amazing voice-looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next, Matt is a natural gifted artist.
I hated the way they rubbed Alexis' nose in the vote off by the stupid panel vote to possibly save her, then didn't. While sometimes A.I. is good TV, that moment was painful.
The Carrie Underwood/Randy Travis duet was stellar. LOVE her!
She was really great! I am very sad to see her go. She was unique and powerful. A real shame they did not save her. That final performance was great!
I guess too many teen girls swooning with fingers glued to the cell phone.
Alexis – take heart. You did a great thing getting this far. You should have gone farther still. I hope some one will pick you up. I really think you have amazing talent. You will be on stage when some of these others are has-beens.

Who is most likely to vote? Teenage girls and Alexis looks too sophisticated for them. Talent rarely has anything to do with the votes. Last year when Carly was voted off I think the judges were genuinely shocked and that is why they made up the save rule. Of course Chickezy and Amanda should have been around longer than David A. and the kid with the dreadlocks. Time to quit watching!
Carrie Underdog was pretty good eh? (that was what Randy shuda called her) Nice girl turned Hollywood. She seems so........... invincible?
I thought Adam was going home with that "Horrific self indulgent performace" go Simon. (I don't think the quote is quite accurate" but it was a hilareous comment again tonite. It just goes to show you how strong Adam is, to stink up the auditorium and not get voted off.
Danny Gorkie is my favorite to win the gold. You heard it here first.
Jeepers, I think the judges did good. That was a super weak performance. Alexis really hammered the song. Dolly would agree, i'm sure.
I think this is a pretty weak season anyway and I've only got a couple of favorites and Alexis was NOT one of them. Both of her last two performances were weak especially last night. I'm looking forward to next week and seeing Lil work with songs that should suit her and watch out for Noop Dog – he just might fool us!
Alexis should not have gone home this week! Sarver does not at all have what it takes to make it much farther. Tho I respect the judges wishes to not use their save this week... I have a feeling it is going to be needed later in the competition.
I haven't seen the show yet – still have almost 11 hours to wait. But I liked Alexis – and the tour needed another female, not Michael Sarver. Very sad to see her go.

Alexis can sing – unfortunately the Americans who voted were not listening to who can really sing just who looks good.
Another mistake this girl can sell records. I really hate to see her leave why do they keep people who cannot sing or cannot sell records

It's all about poor song choice. Alexis has demonstrated in the past that she was one of the best girls in the finals. She did this to herself by picking a lousy song. Had this happened another 3 or 4 weeks down the road, the judges probably wold have saved her. Too early to use the save, though... Sorry...
I am so LIVID that Alexis went home over several of the other people. Scott, Michael and Megan should have been in the bottom 3. That's a crock of CRAP! So she sang one bad song...come on they so should have saved her!

definately the right choice and sooo glad the judges were wise and saved their "save" for the season! alexis had cropped quite the attitude! agree with some others though that adam needs to go he is an arrogant boy with toooo much drama! lil' is the best female with a chance at the top few.
She was good, but wasn't going to win, so why spend a pass on her?
Save that for someone who could win.
THEY MADE A MISTAKE LETTING ALEXIS GO. I REALLY LIKED HER, UNIQUE STYLE, GREAT VOICE. AGREE THAT ADAM NEEDS TO FIND A ROCK OR PUNK BAND. I AM GLAD THAT ALLISON IS SAVED, SHE IS ALSO A WONDERFUL FOR HER AGE.
Michael Sarver is terrible. They both should go. That screaming, Zac Efron-Jonas Bros., goth, show-biz jazz hands guy has got to go too.
I thought she should have stayed. I would have loved to see her on the Tour. Adam was so awful, he should have been the departing member.
There are several that should have went home ahead of Alexis, Saver a nice guy but not A.I. material, Anoop had one good performance, Allison is a good singer if you don't have to look at her. Megan's little shake when she sings is weird and her voice isn't always so great. Simon likes her so she stays. Adam is very different, my pick from the first night is DANNY!!! He just needs to try some contacts. Nice guy, very humble and down to earth and a great singer.

How sad for Alexis! She was really talented, beautiful, and sweet. She was one of the reasons we were watching.
Alexis was worth keeping. She's versatile, memorable and talented. She's got the whole package.
I would have guessed Sarver would be gone by now. Adam needs to go find a rock band.... he is not A.I. material. Megan's voice is getting very annoying- can't imagine an entire CD or concert with that. And Scott.... nice guy, talented... but doubtful he will make it to top 5.
Why am I reading this now when the show doesn't come on for another 34 minutes? Now the show tonight is pointless and I am disappointed.
