Do you want to see Michael Jackson? So it’s all true: Michael Jackson will perform live again. But after all the buildup, his announcement appearance was rather anticlimactic -– for which the performer himself was mainly to blame. ![]() Michael Jackson announced his summer concerts at a London event Thursday.
Jackson didn’t exactly get things off to a rousing start. He was more than 90 minutes late to his own press conference, which was scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET. Not even the promotional film started without a glitch - though, given that it was chock-full of ‘80s and ‘90s clips, it succeeded in reminding viewers of the genuine excitement Jackson could convey. And then a skeletal figure sauntered off a silver bus and made his way to the stage. All that apparent cosmetic surgery notwithstanding, Jackson seemed healthy. “Thank you all,” he said. “This is it.” He’ll be performing 10 concerts, beginning July 8, at London’s 20,000-seat O2 Arena. “This is it” has a double meaning: Besides, presumably, being a must-see ticket, Jackson said that these will be his last shows in London. He hasn’t announced any other shows, but you never know. So, if there were more, would you see him? And would you go to see a Michael Jackson performance or a Michael Jackson freak show? I wanna see Michael alive again...
Of course i would but it'd be nice if he was normal again...i can't believe he bleached his skin. that was the last straw for me. Sorry MJ you were at the top of your game back when you were still black...
I would love to see him if i get the chance.. I love him and i wish he would come back.. but like others says he is better in another place and he is in peace.. Michael I love you and always will forever..To the people that hates him or judge him.. you all should look in the mirror before you say anything..Michael Jackson always be the kindness, loving, loyal and best entertainer in this world! R.I.P. and may God bless Michael's kids and family..Love ya all..
I would love to go and see him anytime and anyday. To sad MJ is dead. His music will leave on... R.I.P MJ much love.
Ok I understand how many people feel about the death of Michael
Jackson but do all of the people have to be subjected to this
all day and all night.
Those who want to be there will be there and those who don't why
should we be inadated with all this.
I really understand some of this because I am a Beatle fan and
especially Sir Paul McCartney and I have been saddened by the other
two Beatles that died, but nothing like this was done for George, or
John and not on this grand scale.
Maybe for John after he died but not like this time.
Sorry Michael Jackson fans' but he will continue and his music will
still make money for his kids and family.
Oh well that's that for now
I just had to say my piece.
Long live SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY FOREVER.
I just happened on this site ,and it makes me wonder if half of these people on here that wrote the bad things about Michael feel terrible now . It makes me so sad to read the hate alot of people had for him in March of this year ,it is to bad that he might have read any of these . Shame on you for judging him ,you will be judged one day too . Thank you for all your God given talent and kind heart . R. I. P Michael may God keep you safe in his loving arms . And that you now have the peace you deserve .
I love m.Jackson and i whill love him forever.
RIP M.J ,it's me your friend Tshaly in Africa
Ain't that the truth KIRALYNN. We have become a society easily influenced by the media. Where has our ability to decide for ourself gone? We need to take back our ability to think. The media is laughing all the way to the bank. I'm embarrassed!
OFCOURSE I would!!!! I don't deny that he has a few problems, who doesn't? But, I think most is just exaggerated BS. Its unfortunate that much of the public is so easily influenced by the media.
Yes, I would love to see Michael. The bottom line he is and will remain for a long time the greatest entertainer to ever live. He was found not guilty. I am so damm tired just because some people don't like the verdict of his trial, they want to take away all his great work. Get over it. If you were accused of something and found not guilty don't you deserve to go on with your life. You go Michael you do what you do.
Y E S
how can a person with some understaning for music not see that he is a genius?
100,000% YES
never liked his music, even before he raped children.
If I were to be given free tickets I still would not see him. I would probably burn them to make sure that no one would be subjected to this spectacle. I feel nothing but pity for this man, if you can still call him a man. His entire life has been put on display for the public, shame on all of those that have promoted this once pleasant and adorable little boy to someone that seems to barely be human anymore. It saddens me deeply to think of Michael Jackson, once loved by millions, with his amazing talent that seems to have been transformed into something horrible.
No! Double no! Michael is yesterday's news, a has been. And he's too d*mn ugly to look at for any price.
I'd love to see Michael Jackson perform live. He's an amazing artist. 'Nuff said.
NO, He is irrelevant.
Great News to hear.....It appears to me that Michael Jackson was a victim of greed..(about molestation). The perpetrators, wanted Jackson's money.. MJ doesn't need money. Its too bad people are turning their backs on him, when he brought so much talent..recordings etc.....embrace his music......
yes
He was talented! What a pitty.
We should set an example and refuse to see him for the sake of humanity. We are saying what he did and may continue to do is OKAY...what example are we showing our children?
Where did our morals go?
Absolutely not!
YESYESYESYES The man's a legend. I would kill to see him.
I am now 50 years old and 20-30 years ago I was from the "Disco era" and Michael was big then. His music fitted in real well then but I'm not sure he now has what it takes to keep people as interested. He was really good at one time but I think that time has passed. As far as his looks............he should have stopped when he was 20. I can't recognize him anymore. If he tries his famous dance steps today it will make him look like an impersonator and not the real thing!!! Who wants to see that freak to the moon dance anyway!!! Sorry Michael...........time to fall in the background and let the younger ones shine!! You lost your gleam!!!
I wouldn't waste my time on that freak. He's one sick puppy!!
I agree with Jerome. He is a freak and is broke. Get back in touch with your family and let them help you our Mike!
Michael Jackson set the gold standard that all present-day pop stars are judged by. So many of you here say that you wouldn't see him perform, yet you read this blog and took the time to post a comment. Interesting... I'd say you still have some sort of fascination with him, otherwise you wouldn't be here. I would definitely see him perform if given the opportunity. Actually, it's on of the list of things I want to do in my life....see a live Michael Jackson performance. I grew up to his music and regardless of the weirdness, he is still an amazing talent.
I use to be a Michael Jackson fan when he was the REAL Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson needs to give up. He's has ruined himself by changing his skin color, his features, everything. He is definetly Wacko Jacko and needs help. He's obviously in financial trouble to want to try and make a come back and if people are smart – Jackson fan or not – they won't help him.
I would love to see Michael Jackson! I don't care what anyone says about him, the man is the best performer of all-time. There is not one artist that hasn't taken something from him. I'm sure the concert will sell-out in minutes and I know fans will be passing out when they see him. GO MICHAEL!
MJ, freak should be in jail with the other freaks. Don't drop the soap, MJ.
Stay hidden in Behran with your little frieds.
His kids, sooner or later will be like father like son.
What?!? No U.S. tour? Is he afraid of being lynched, or simply ignored – because I wish that is what would happen. I would just love it if when these has-been "stars" announce some lame comeback attempt they're completely ignored by everyone, including the media. But of course that won't happen. It's amazing in this world how you can be the biggest freak (probably criminally so) and the minute you re-appear our media (and many of us, too) are all over it! Sad, really.
Michael, please go away like the rest of your family has – and make it somewhere far away so we don't have to ever hear of you again.
At one time I thought I would love to see him but after all this drama that went down.............Hell to the NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will always be those few "fans" who'll go to see anyone. Michael Jackson is a waste of time and money. He hasn't had a decent recording since Thriller. Let him stay in Bahrain.
I saw Michael Jackson in the 80's and he was still good back then. Today, in my opinion, he is just sad. Too much controversy over his own actions and his exploits have ruined his presonal and private credibility. Why would anyone spend their hard earned money to see something that could only be a composit of past perfomances by a man that is in no way the man he was when he originaly performed? Save the bucks or donate to the Childrens Fund!
Yes, he's still the KING of pop and you HATERS can't take that from him!!
No! This idiot is a child molester that was let go because of who he was...Just look at him???? her???? and it is obvious.
Also, the music won't be live because if you listened to his announcement, his voice is scratchy and definately gone...He should be in prison with the other child molesters..He could have fun then.
The career of Micheal Jackson is so over. There will not be another Micheal Jackson for sure but the cute kid of yester-year and the handsome young man of the past is sooooooo gone and it needs to stay that way...
I would love to see MJ anytime
MICHAEL JACKSON CANNOT BE REPLACED!
he is the best entertainer around, I just hope he can still pull off his old dance moves the same if not better and maybe show us some new moves.
I would love to see him and he is a brilliant singer. Brilliant. Amazingly unique. So many artists have copied Jackson like Justin timberlake and Chris Brown; they copied. Jackson upstages them. All the power in the world to Michael Jackson
Remarks on this blog would indicate that there are "conservative" people out there. I've never considered myself conservative - but I have made a "personal" choice not to support someone who has foolishly spent his money on extravagant things over the years - money he earned from his fans - and then take advantage of innocent children. If you think that he is innocent, so be it - you're right, the "courts" found him innocent. But what about the payoffs he made to the children to keep them hushed. He needs to fade away into the sunset....
Ummm..... I think not.
YES YES YES
YES YES YES
YES YES YES
YES YES YESYES YES YESYES YES YES
YES YES YES
YES YES YES
YES YES YES
YES YES YESYES YES YES
I WILL SEE HIM OVER AND OVER
This man is a living legend, an African-American living legend.
Despite what his antics are offstage, and his personal life may be like
he is and still is the reigning KING OF POP.
To all of you who say you will not go see him, you are a got dam lie, it will be history seeing him and you would all be in line purchasing tickets.
Besides the fact more whites go to see him than African Americans, so get over it.
Long Live Michael Jackson, and yes i will go see him once he comes to the US.
Keep it real folks!!!
The guy is a plastic surgery freak and and an absolute loser. I wouldn"t part with a single penny to see him. He's pathetic
He has squandered his talent and become an object of pity. Take any money you would have spent on concert tickets and donate it to a charity.
In two words.....HELL NO!!!!!
ok,..i'm nobody,..but i have been a professional guitarist/vocalist most of my life and i gotta tell ya. i think we are the same age mike is about 51 right?
hey if he can still dance cool, but the whole "doin' the show" thing,..i get away with it 'cause i'm a side musician, where he is the act,.. i think the guy ought to teach performance at some major music school and leave it at that
Yeeeeeeeeees, can't wait, 't's been too long!
SWEEEEEEEEEEEET i love michael jackson!!!
No, he should take what's left of his nose (talent) and go far, far away. He's a shadowy figure, and not mentally balanced.
I will see Michael Jackson in concert at the O2 as many times as possible. He's still the greatest pop star and live artist in the world, and people who as NO have no idea what a genius Michael Jackson is and have been brainwashed by the media.
Michael Jackson's concerts at the O2 will be a huge success and all the doubters will be proven wrong. Michael Jackson and us fans always come out as the winners !!!
Hell yeah!! I grew up with his music! He's done some crazy stuff, yeah, but who are we to judge? We aint perfect!
I am glad that Michael is trying getting back, we all know he is the best that has ever been. There has been so many imitations, but no one remotely comes near him.
Though he has got his share of problems, but with all great talents comes greater price.
But i believe he will put in his best show.
I will be there to see him.
No!!!!! I think he has goteen away with tooo many things in his adulthood to glorify him, Something in his childhood really screwed him up, Like some have responded KEEP YOUR CHILDREN CLOSE.
Am I the only one who thinks the guy in the video yesterday was a Michael Jackson impersonator??
HEEEEEELL YES!!!!! Biggest Entertainer of all time....
Saying who doesnt care about MJ LOL... Those 200.000 Tickets will be sold out in Minutes...And i dont think he cares what the dissers think about him. Get your tickets for Hannah Montana haters....
Maybe, out of morbid curiousity....its like driving by a traffic accident and trying to force yourself not to turn your head and look.....
Why does Michael WANT to comeback?????
He must stop trying to make something work which obviously can't. He should've stopped when he was at the top of his came and disappeared before all the crap started.
The Pedophile thing will NEVER EVER go away, doesn't matter what an amazing show he can pull off.
I would, no doubt about it.
Uh....NO ! Hey, what's with the grown men crying at the press conference...too creepy.
he is the best entertainer, musician of all time, it was crazy to see the excitement in London for him, nobody in the world achieve to create this level of craziness, this fantastic buzz . It s gonna the ultimate comeback, and a new cd shall come soon. In Europe, it s been 2 hours he is in every piece of news on every channel, it is crazy!
I'd pay to see him. He's an amazing entertainer.
Not now, may be 15 years ago…
YES! I say him in Germany and he is AWESOME!!! all the insanity aside, he is a great performer. I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON
No becuase I am too poor! lol
NO
YES!!!! He is the best to ever grace the stage. PERIOD. Hate em or love em theres no one eho does it better. As for him personally. Yes he has mad issues. Just look at him. Also, he has not been convicted of ANYTHING and until a verdict is handed down I will continue to support. him. Can he babysit or even meet my sons? HELL NO!!
BTW, Release the Moonwalker DVD in the States!!!
Nope! Not even if the ticket were free.
Who? All he's good for now is a question for a trivia contest...who's had the most nose jobs in the world?
It's really a shame...he was an extremely innovative and talented singer/dancer at one time....
No way! Not even if the tickets were free.
NO, because the REAL Michael Jackson no longer exists. Unfortunate that such a talented person has been so exploited personally by family and his own poor choices and also professionally - he has ruined his career. I dont take away from his talents at all, his best work was Off the Wall and Thriller, all else after that was a complete wash and closed the books on his legacy. Seriously, think about it, would a concert for him now in anyway be a success in the US..heck to the no! Folks, keep the old tracks from his days in Jackson 5, Off the Wall and Thriller... they still sound great!
Oh Hell to the Yes! We would love to see Michael Jackson perform. No one is perfect...but, we forgive everything and everyone else. How come we can't forgive him. We believe that he is still a great performer and singer...even though he doesn't "look like himself." Underneath all of the foolishness is MICHAEL JACKSON!
No. I don't think I would. Not unless its free. When you look at it from a historical point of view yeah it would be something to see but I wouldn't want to pay for it. As for the one bloger who said he talented. Dude if you don't like him or think he is a bit odd, well no, very odd thats cool but he has loads of talent he is an entertainer. As foe coming late to the press conference, it part of the show. When you have that kind of following you can do that.
NO WAY. He is a sick, twisted soul. Just look at what he's done to himself. DO NOT REWARD THIS BEHAVIOR. He needs therapy, not pathetic fans allowing him more years of delusion.
The man is talented, a genious, whatever you say about him you can`t take that away from him.
.
I see a lot of Conservatives are out on the blogs today!
Surgery, freak, huh what? The guy thinks it's okay to sleep with children uh Helloooo people?? Would you hold your baby over the edge of a balcony? This guy makes Marilyn Manson look like a Sesame Street character! I've boycotted anything with his name attached to it for years, I turn the radio station off when his songs come on. Bahrain can keep him!
No. I just want him to go away and not come back. Enough of him, already.
People don't you think we should be the part of solution rather to be the part of problem. Well there are many who are afraid of moon walk. Let them be so. New dawn is to break on the horizen, but there won't be any place for them. Molestation they allege, but bereft of reason.
Michael Jackson has a huge number of hits and legendary status with the likes of James Brown and Jackie Wilson, he is an excellent stage performer and if in the United States I would try to budget to see him, in the UK he is still very popular and will probably do very well, good luck Michael...as far as his personal life...let God be the judge now that he had his day in court.
This guy copy's alot of Prince's moves – not only did he name his kid after Prince, but now he's doing 20+ shows in London like Prince did few years back.... Mike you were great back-in-the-day, but I think its time to hang up your shoes.. bring Prince back!
I don't think people who sexually abuse children should be able to have concerts.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Yes, Michael Jackson was - WAS - talented back 20 to 30 years ago. But for God's sake, he has molested and manipulated many children over the years. I don't know why anyone would want to support this man and eventually give him financial gain. He blew all of his money - money he earned from fans. He just needs to fade away into the sunset.
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! Say what? Are u guys for real? People joining the bandwagon of those saying no, all have secret Michael Jackson records hidden under their pillows!! What pretenders!!! Who are we kidding, here? We are all freaks in secret afterall. God bless the 'out freak' !!
People saying they feel sorry for him? Sorry for the greatest superstar that ever lived. Jealous that the freak is getting all the attention and getting paid big time? I happen to be in London and it's at the right time. This gig is going to be the real deal. See ya, s******* and eat your hearts out!!!
I saw him in his hayday during thriller. It was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. But he is sooo over now. Wouldn't even go now if it was free !!!!
No Way, who would pay a dime to see this freak – the man? is wierd and wierder!!!
Hell yeah. Because I'm BAD, I'm BAD! You know it! You know! And the whole world has to answer right now, just to them once again! Who's BAD????!!!
heck yeah and anyone who says they would not was never a fan anyway....the boy has talent weird or not...and whay does every pick on Micheal anyway... Janet seems like she is a few cans short of a 6pack with all the secrets and crazy crap she's done over the years and every one in his family all his brothers and sisters except Tito has had plastic surgery..so what if he has he paid for it.. I would LOVE TO SEE HIM....
I love his work and from what I remember, he was a fabulous entertainer.
But with all the scandals, the disrespect to his fans by being late to his own press conference, and the various creepy references which he has inspired.....I'm going to have to pass.
Ahh, NO. Gross little perv!
.... no
NO WAY!!! WOULD YOU GO SEE YOUR UNCLE WHO MOLESTED YOU TOO?
Nope!
Put the HELL to the NO!!!
I'd love to see Michael.
Therefore I'm glad all these naysayers won't be at the concert – they would just ruin a fantastic event! Stay away, all of you and let the people who will enjoy the concert have fun.
R.C. have fun watching that colostomy bag fill up . . .
NO WAY!! HE IS A DISGRACE! HE SHOULD OF BEEN PROSECUTED, ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS HIM WILL BE SUPPORTING CHILD MOLESTERS1
NO!
He's a FREAK show, that brings in the freaks with price of ticket.
Let the fools go and if they have young boy, perhaps they should bring them along and let him molest them so they can get backstage with the "Undisputed King of Pop" a name MJ gave himself!
Absolutely I would go see him. The man has issues (who hasn't?) but he has a God-given talent that is undeniable both in voice and dance. Question is how much money for tickets? $60-80 seems fair.
yes, I like michael
NO! Not even if it was a free concert on my lawn!
YES!
No! He is from another planet......................A very sick one!
While I idolized Michael when I was a kid and he is a musical genius, all the yang yang in his personal life has made him unbearable. I have given him the benefit of the doubt time after time and nothing changes about him. Things get more bizzare about him by the day. I'll just stick to the cd's from yester years and watch videos from the past on youtube.com. That will help me remember him the way he was. Sorry Mike!
I would love to see MJ because he is an ICON. If he truely did what they said in 2005-06 he would have be rotting in jail by now. So for all those negative people "shut up".
I guess thats what happens when you have lots of money. People make up things to ruin your career. Which the same things have happend to alot of celebrities including lets not forget Kobe Bryant.
Overall I would love to see him in concert but I cannot afford it.
If you look at teeth, hands, and movements, there is no way that was Michael Jackson. Can you bring up some old footage and expose if it truly is a hoax. Look at your picture for this story...he is buck toothed.
Heck no and why would anyone want to see him at all? He is SO past his prime music-wise.
Would love to see MJ... i grew up with his music....i'm not a fan of his personal life, but a fan of his music
Yes, and if the show is what I'm expecting I'd go see additional shows. I have no reason to believe the genious he displayed years ago is not still with him. He's simply great! Also, he is not a "Freak", thats for those who used the word freak in your message. You only used it because you noticed others using it, you sorry people.
I'd spend my money for that...I haven't had the chance to see him perform, and I'd just about sell my teeth to be able to! For me, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see such a performance. I wish he'd come to the US, though, b/c I can't get to London.
No Way even if I could afford it.
I would love to see Michael Jackson.People need to quit judging him,he hasnt been convicted of anything. What are they hiding that they have to put him down in such a way.Live and let live.
Not in a million years!
its the people that support this weid behaiver, as long as we pay he will continue. no one pays he goes away!
No. Not in a million years. The man is not well.
Absolutely I would see him. That's a chance for history.
If you guys hate him so much, why are you bothering to post about it?
i was born in 1980 so I grew up when Michael was at his prime. I remember my mom taking my older siblings to his concert in 1984, but i was too young to go. i have always said one day I would see him perform. Now that I'm older, I still would go to a concert but it would have to be within driving distance from my house and at a decent price.
Yes in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!! Would pay money to see him.
You know woody allen married his own daughter... and they get invited to events. Michael was prooved innocent in the court of law...
HMMMMMMM!!!!!
Is he weired? Yes
Is he talented? Yes
Would I pay to see him?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's the point. His talent is long gone. He's a freak show. He needs to disappear and stop embarrassing himself.
I would like see him as well...
I believe in second chances and to think of the reason he moved out of USA was for exact same reason this thread was made up, so people could smash and bash his name...
He is human like the rest of us so give him a break...
He has every right to live in this imperfect world just like the rest of us...
Mom always said; Don't judge a person unless you walked in there foot prints...
Yuck!
Nope!
Michael Jackson the king of Pop... HELL YEAH, I don't care what anybody says about him, he is the most amazing & successful entertainer of all time period! So all the Michael Jackson hater's take a hike, if not for him the Chris Brown's & Justin Timberlake's of today wouldn't even exist. Not to mention Michael Jackson is the true Martin Luther King of the 80s generation, he paved the way for African American's in the music industry. His music is inspirational & feel good, & in that aspect he has never left his fans disappointed. Lets not forget the fact that he has sold more albums than any other artist in history!
For the people accusing him, don't forget he was found NOT GUILTY. Disgusting people went after his money, used him and lied to get what they wanted. There was never any proof whatsoever he did anything wrong to a child, the proof was actually all the lies of those accusing him. The assuers had histories of false scams and rip-offs, fake lawsuits etc.
I really don't like his music but it bothers me more when people accuse an innocent man of something he did not do. Jackson put himeself in vulnerable positions which was stupid. When you have money those without will do ANYTHING to take it from you. Celebrities stay sheltered for a reason and only hang out with others who have money. It's a sad reality. Jackson did wonderful things for the world, community and children without. It's a hopeless shame people took advantage of him for being nice.
NO WAY! The guy is a sick perv and I'll never understand how he managed to get away with it – first time I gave him the benifit of doubt – second time round....no way!
I think it is disgusting to even give this guy a forum to perform!
NO WAY! The only thing I wish to hear about this "person" is that he is bankrupt and has gone to prison for being the pervert that he is!
NO WAY!
I saw the J5 when I was a kid, and I have the Thriller album. That's all the Michael Jackson I want to remember. I can't stand to even look at him now – he's too freakish. So my answer is NO WAY.
Given a choice between seeing him or working at something productive...I'd rather clean out a very dirty horse stall full of spiders than to be seen in the same room with him....
As for the plastic and the bleach...yup...I agree with all of you....funny! He spent all that money trying to turn himself white and....If he had waited he could be black just like our Prez.....but it too late to go back now........Hey Mike...you're an idiot......
Has anyone seen his sister, Latoya is she still alive she was fine in her younger day, what is she doing now
I would like to see him – locked up without access to any children! He may have been the king of pop once, about 20 years ago, but is no longer relavent musically. Also I am not so sure about the talent – weren't all his hits written and produced by Quincy Jones? Michael WAS a gifted performer, but bought into his own Neverland hype, and is just a washed up weirdo now. Why is he allowed to have children – the scarves over the faces is just so wrong!
Of course I want to see Michael Jackson! He's a musical genius and his musical legacy is full of the songs that have made my life and so many others a little more exciting. He created the pop music culture!
You bet! I would love to hear his music live one more time!
Nope. But ... I wonder if his moonwalk looks as pathetic now as David Lee Roth's attempt at a scissor-kick on the VH tour? lol
The Michael I knew and loved is dead to me. What a tragic story for the old King of Pop. I still listen to the oldies but no way would I go see this child molester. RIP Michael!
What is the big deal he is not the only artist that is up in age that has been out of the world view and came back to do a tour. Their are many artist's that have been out for a long time and came back to do a tour.
So what if he needs the money, no one really know that for sure, that aman might have money over in swiss account or some where who's really to say. Yes he was a nut to spent money of most of the things that he spent it on . Even if I had that kind of money I would not have wasted on most to the stuff he and most people waste it on just because they made good money.
But as I read all these replys that people have wrote I wonder if the guy was to get changed back to what he ONCE looked like would people that 's HATING on him now would feel the same.
Don't get me wrong I think the guy made a BIG Mistake with all that make over and over and over. But I am not hating on him some of if music I like and some of it I don't .
Would I pay to see him Hell I wont pay to see no artist ( laughing ) when I can just buy their CD or better yet down load their music. And I am not saying that I down load their music for free or for a cost. But you know the world wide web in 2009 ( LOL ) .
The man was found Innocent. America is against MJ. And still he was found innocent which means.. HE DIDNT DO IT. Yes he is very weird... but about the kid stuff chill out and stop being hateful. He is a human being that is making a living just like all of us and he is damn good at what he does. So i support him all the way. Good music never dies.
I agree with Rich. Pre-monster, maybe....
Looky here dont the bible say thou shall not judge? none of yall haters has ever been in his house to say or accusse him of anything these boys parents for all we know put them up to it. And the recent indcident that happen the boys mother avoided simple questions and would not answer the even under oath on the stand. Yalls abunch of IDIOTS NIWITS AND KNKOW IT ALL! I AM HAPPY TO BE A VERY LARGE FAN OF THIS MAN. And while yall worried about his concert ya need to be worried about this economy and America's downfall if we have a cutain call.
NO FRICKIN WAY!
Even if I were offered free tickets....I wouldnt go.
yes i would love to see him
I would rather not see Mr.Jackson. What is left of his face shows his fear, his sadness and his tragedy. He wears the masks of tragedy and self loathing. When he was still whole, before the plastic surgeons fulfilled his dream of being a Disneyish Peter Pan, he stunned the world with his genius. He is now the symbol of believing his press agents and handlers too much. Like Elvis, he is an unintended symbol of an inescapable sadness and horror of living.
I wish that he wouldn't go back to the stage. The memory of that very gifted little boy is all I want to remember.
YES! He is an excellent entertainer. The songs are great and the moves. I wish he was coming to the US.
Yes I would, the Greatest Entertainer Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well at one time i would have paid to see him,, but now, well the tickets would have to be real cheap, like 50.00 cdn, and then i dont know, i live in a rural area so it would be hard to get to the city, unless it was around my payday, but i think this is one star whose fire is fading, maybe not out but fading, however the powers that be might be able to breathe air into him, and maybe a little fire,, put some weight on mikey,, you need it...
NO! I would have gone before he went over the deep end. He lost me when he started getting plastic surgeries and the allegations of touching boys. No I'm done.
Hasn't he realized that he is no longer creative and modern? Recycling only goes so far. You are not a King, I am afraid.
Absolutely not! This guy is a freak, both in his self inflicted mutated looks as well as his very questionable behavior with minors.
I would rather chew tin foil than give this guy a dime.
No .......why would anyone want to spend their money on him?
HELL NO...and I feel sorry for those who do!
Not just no, but hell no!
By the way for all those people who are calling micheal a freek. you are the first one to buy up all the tickets.
No. He needs to Beat It!
Michael Jackson is a rock and pop icon. There was a program 10-20 years ago and it showed several of his performances. It was one of the most amazing progressions of his career.
Yes I would go see him but no I would not go see a friek show.
I hope he doesn't blow it by coming back like a quarterback that over the hill
He should be in jail not on stage.
I would rather see a colostomy bag fill up.
Three words: KING. OF. POP. 'Nuff said. I'd eagerly attend one of his shows; here's hoping he has one in the U.S.!
Hell Yes! I'd love to see Michael Jackson again!
He is one the greatest entertainers of all times!
Just because he was FALSELY accused of a crime is no reason to punish him!
It's pathetic how childish you people are. Michael Jackson is an amazing artist no matter what he does in his own personal life. We don't know if half of the rumors on Michael are true and you all go ahead and state them as if YOU would know.
seriously, grow up and stop talking out of your ass.
if I wnat to see a child molester sing, I will go to a prison during shower time......this guy is a freak and his talents are gone.
Todd Leopold you never have any thing positive to say about any one at any time. your blogs are very stupid and fill with a shaddy outlook on stars. Ok Micheal Jackson has had lots of plastic surg. What else is new move on get over it. by the way if you have not been to a Micheal Jackson concert you should go. He is an entertainer and that what it's all about. Not to mention Mick Jag has the same face with little or no plastic surg what is his excuse for looking freakish. Mick and Micheal are great at what they do and thats what mattes. so Tood Lepoid get a life with positive.
No.
he's my childhood hero and always will be the greatest entertainer of all time
I'd do anything to see him live
YES!! I LUV Michael Jackson the entertainer. He is spectacular. However, I can only wish, I haven't seen him since I was about 10 and I am 49 now.
I want to see the youtube video of him collapsing on stage... because you know thats going to happen!
I saw his Thriller tour – back when he was still black. But there is no way I'd give money to a potential pedophile.
I would see him. And when time passes and the scandals amount to nothing, some would wish they said "yes" while others with their self-righteousness will never say "yes." Then again those people rarely know how to have a good time.
Regardless of his personal life and all his craziness, He is one of the greatest musical acts of all time. Unfortunatly the economy sucks and i def dont have that kind of money to travel to london. I just hope it is recorded and able to purchase later down the road. Best of luck to him. Just wish he would act normal for a change...
Michael who?
there is NO WAY i would waste my time w/this piece of trash!!!
Wow- this guy sure does bring out emotions in folks for bad or good. Kind of like a bad accident, you can't look away I guess. I would expect these concerts to be that bad accident. I would also expect that we'll see a lot of coverage in the media. I wouldn't go see him, but I'll probably gawk at the wreckage to make my own life seem better...
Since I don't live in London the answer is NO. If I did live in London the answer would still be NO. He was great when he was younger but he is just too weird now. Plus considering the financial problems he seems to be having I'm betting the ticket price will be enormous. Can't afford it nor want it.
Wow.
"He is the King of pop and I know when he will be on stage, no one blaim him and those will shocked who are against him. He is a man of entertainment.I love him alot."
I weep for the education system. It has failed so many, apparently.
so what? who cares?
Yes I will. Michael Jackson is still considered a true star in Europe
No way, no how.
I would definately go! Who cares about his recent troubles... I put those people in the same lot as those who care about Britney or this Chris Brown stuff.
The fact is, he is the biggest living legend of our time. He has set records that our children's children will be talking about. He is no where near where he used to be but it would be remarkable to see someone who was once the greatest at what he does (music AND dance) in person, even if he's not at the top of his game.
Chester the molester makes a public appearance – his first since being acquitted – to announce "this is it"? Are you kidding?
Put a hook in this clown. No one cares.
Would I go see him? In a heartbeat. He is no more so a freak than that druggie Osborne who bites off bats' heads.
WIll there be free tickets? If so, please add my name to the list.
I would love to see him again... he has always been a great entertainer .. hopefully, he will be able to complete this last hoorah... no one's personal live interferes with my enjoyment of their talent no matter who it is...
No.....If I want to see a freak, I'll watch Ripley's "Believe It Or Not"......he made one decent album and that's only because Quincey Jones produced.
Michael Jackson is a legend, every musician today has benefited from his music. Just listen to what they are all doing and you will hear his work. What you all need to do is to remove your personal feelings and appreciate his talent and that is is musical career. He is the greatest and no one else has stepped up to his level. Long live the king.
Julie ROBERTS March 5th, 2009 2:43 pm ET
Michael who??? Does anyone care???
-------------------------------- Apparently you do because you took the time out of your busy day to comment.
Absolutly..He is the true king
Would I go see Michael Jackson? Nope.
He obviously missed his first curtain call.....he is so over. People aren't into "sick-o's" this day and age.
No!! He was once a musical genius, but he is so far removed from reality that he is now only looked at as a clown!! Let Mike keep his concerts overseas, we already have R. Kelly to deal with two molesters is just too much to deal with!
NO
I loved his music. I still do, but I can't stand to look at him. He was gorgeous! His "Off the Wall" album picture was the best!
Most of the people commenting are jealous & racist. Wow 140 people say NO vs the millions that would say yes.......
Notwithstanding his real talent, Michael Jackson will never get another nickel of my money. His career has done down the tubes because people find his crimes truly disgusting. Three young men testified at his trial that they were molested by him. I believed them. He belongs in prison and needs to apologize to and compensate his victims. I pray for his children, too. God only know what they are subjected to.
No! Stick a fork in him... He DONE!!!
Will he be wearing a mask? hahahaha, or will this be a thriller themed concert for his skeletal nose, running around smelling little boys booty holes
i would love to see michael jackson only on the condition that i can go back in time to see him around '82-'83. then i'd probably be able to see him perform all his songs from the thriller album including p.y.t. which is probably my favorite song on that album. p.y.t. is so underrated since other songs like thriller, beat it, and billie jean were monsterous. today's michael...i'll pass.
TO Whitey: Don't Hate, I wonder what sort of FREAK you look like. You thought your child could get you $100,000 in the abuse suit, now it is PAY BACK TIME, PAY BACK FOR THE DAMAGES YOU PEOPLE CAUSED THIS BRILLIANT ENTERTAINER, WHITEMAN BE GONE- VOOOM !! HE IS BACK AND HE IS BAD : = )
YES, I would see him again. Michael is the best performer of all time. People need to leave his personal life......PERSONAL!
Not a chance. Please go away Michael.
First off ... NO!! No way, never, you couldn't drag me to see him.
Lastly, he will cancel at the last minute like he has in the past, so don't get yourself all worked up!
MJ has lost his mind...I do hope one day he finds it.
not wanting to waste my money
If I want to see a child molester then I’ll watch America’s Most Wanted.
TO Whitey: Don't Hate, I wonder what sort of FREAK you look like. You thought your child could get you $100,000 in the abuse suit, now it is PAY BACK TIME, PAY BACK FOR THE DAMAGES YOU PEOPLE CAUSED BRILLIANT ENTERTAINER, WHITEMAN BE GONE- VOOOM !!
What a pathetic display....Late for this so called BIG announcement.
Make people wait for him like he is this great entertainer? ...Yes I will admit in his prime(80's). He was god like in some peoples eyes(not mine) never cared much for his music, but respected the individual for his achievements.
What really sickens me is these fans that constantly praise him, and it wouldn't matter one bit if he was caught on video tape in "child situations" if you know what I mean, some people out there would still follow him into that "pedafile" zoo they once called Neverland without a blink of an eye and leave their children with him
He's a sicko, and ANY OTHER celebrity who would have even did a portion of his stupid stunts would have been locked up years ago, but for some reason this guy continues to mezmorize people?
Why do you think he moved to a foreign country?
I love America, from its king to king. I mean from its Luther who is beacon to civilization, to jakson who is light to music and music lovers. Americe do what is not easy but what is necessary, i mean he knows when and where, from past thriller to future thrill. I mean he is what he is. Simply part of the dream of the Lincon.
No. He's a freak. I don't understand these fans who weep and go into convulsions for a guy who WAS the greatest performer in the world, but that was 20 years ago. He's creepy and weird and hasn't done anything note worthy (musically speaking) in ages. I hope this is good riddance.
Tru all his as you can say "old behavior" he still the king of pop. i am young 25 he was kinda before my day but i just bought my ticket to london (always want to go) and see the king of pop perfom . (before he really is washed up)
Never wanted to see him perform...still don't.
Yes, I would see him. I believe he is the king of Pop...many artists domestically and internationally immitate his style and you can hear from top notch singers who uses his beats and tones in their music.
By far the best entertainer.
NO NO NO
Who cares about him anymore. He just wants some cash.
Heck yes I'd see him if it was financially feasible.
N,,,,O.....
I have no desire to see Michael Jackson, but in no way would I put down those that do like him. All music is good. That being said, I'm afraid the Michael Jackson fans out there are remembering a better time and a different performer. He has done nothing to keep his music alive in YEARS. It's not like Britney Spears, who is young enough to endure a fall in her career and spring back successfully. If Michael is trying to make a comeback....it will be sad.
I would love to! he is amazing, a legend. Im a teenager fan , and i think his music should be more respected, its what all the recent artists look up to. I want to go see the shows
Im so sad that it is his last
He said this is it.
and thats sad
O.K. Michael is 51yrs old and so out of touch, what would he be singing again, his Jackson 5 style from a black album or 8 track Triller. I think he should sell the things that is no use and save his money for college tuition for those children. To those who think he is a freak they are upset because he was ACQUITTED of those lies. I believe he is eccentric. Get over it, HIS BAD!!!!!!
TO THE ONE WHO SAID SHE WOULDN'T CROSS THE STREET TO SEE THE FREAK, DON'T WORRY, TWO FREAKS ARE NOT ALLOWED OUT AT THE SAME TIME.
OMG!!! NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! And Carolyn Bates needs to review the last 10 years or so of Jackson's life.
Not even at gunpoint.
umm...lets see...No...
I think calling him the king of pop is no longer true. He has beent he king of anything, except maybe pedophilia for a couple of decades. I never really cared for his music, other than they made great Wierd Al Yankovic parodies.
HELL 2 THE NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duh!!!!! Hell yeah. It's Michael Jackson people. I don't care what you have to say negative about him, let him or her without sin cast the first stone, weird or not, brown skin or bleached, glove or no glove, If you don't wanna see this guy live who in the heck else would ya wanna see? He's the epitome of performance. He's the showman of all showmen. Without him there would be none of these flash in the pans that everyone else likes that are speaking disdainfully of him. Get a clue people. Do your homework.
I would never see Michael Jackson, ever, even just to see a freak show.
Too creepy, too perverted, too much. No way, no how. Child molesters belong in jail.
yes.. i want to see him in jail for his sex abuses....
Michael is the greatest and I hope that london will be just the start of a world tour. I would love to see him !!! He is the KING OF POP
Yes, ME and my entire family are going. We love is music. He is the best, Ever!!! I would not care if he were in China I am there!!!
I think i'll wait for him to appear in Ripley's.
Not even if the tickets were free.
who's Michael Jackson?
Yes, I'd love to see him – in jail where he belongs.
NOOOO
Nope. He's just a sick freak. The sooner he is gone, the better. Be sure to keep him away from any children in the interim before he dies.
i would totally go, its historic, iconic and i will probably get to light a lighter with lots of other people.
I sure would pay too see MJ....I would gladly spend a couple hundred bucks too see someone sing hits I actually enjoy listning to this very day and despite what some of the vile comments are on this board most of them would go too.....come back to the states Mike I wanna see you in PA
Not any more.
I love to watch performers from the 80's, however I know longer see him as a performer. I see him as a circus act.
He needs to keep what dignity he has left and stay hidden.
I wouldn't walk across the street to see Michael Jackson. He is a poor, pathetically warped human being–as evidenced by his appearance. I agree with some other commenters that Michael must be hard up for money and thinks he's going to rake in the "dough." I believe his career is over. It's not that people don't understand why he's warped; it's that he did nothing about it–didn't get counseling or seek psyciatriatic help. And, for him to think that we don't know that he hated being black, is naive.
I probably would have gone to see him back when he was a young black man... but now that he's made himself into an old white woman, no interest whatsoever.
yes
He is a great entertainer.
Do I want to see Michael Jackson, sure, about as badly as I would want a metal rod shoved up my toenail beds!!!
I was a club DJ in the 80s and loved to play MJ songs, as they were so good and would immediately pack the floor. Yes, he was talented and put on a great live show, too. However, the Michael that collaborated with the great Quincy Jones is gone. The handsome young black man that was Michael left a long time ago. What's left is a sick individual who craves attention, is broke, and is never allowed to be accountable. I feel sorry for him, but I would never see him live. I deleted all his songs a while ago, as I can't hear them without visualizing the sick child molester.
I would LOVE to see him, but I can't afford a trip to London. Despite his wackiness, he is a very talented singer/dancer/entertainer and I think he would still give an amazing show.
ABSOLUTELY, YES!!! History such as this will never repeat and he beats Miley, Britney or the Jonas Brothers anyday of the week, even at his worst! As far as the allegations, well, they are just that. People forget that their are many parents around the globe who share in the culpability for exposing their children who more than likely had inappropriate emotional attachments to children, but hopefully nothing more.
Yes, I would go to see Michael. The first time I saw him I was blown away and still believe to this day that he is the greatest performer to ever grace the stage.
I don't want to see him – he's disgusting to say the least!
Used to be a fan, but he's just gotten a bit' strange for me. I will go back to my old 45s if I want to listen to him again and relive "the good ol' days", before the multiple surgeries and scandals..
He should be sharing a cell with OJ.
Why London?
Absolutely!
not a chance. his songs are all ridiculously bad, and there is no way i can take this guy seriously. i never could, even as a kid, i just had to laugh at this no-talent hack and say to myself, "really? is this guy serious?"
The man is a has-been, a freak, and a walking train wreck.
He hasn't had a hit song in 20 years. His reputation is a mess; his finances are a mess; his face is a mess.
His self-loathing is as plain as the nose on his face. He's creepy. He's disgusting.
I'd go to his concert if you paid me $100,000 and gave me a Haz Mat suit to protect me from his nutty fans. He should hurry up already and disappear.
Not his concerts.
NOT
Not particularly.
Perform on stage, you bet! Anything else, no way!
Yes, I would, I'm so sick of hearing to much of Rap music. It time for a little of really R&B and Pop.
He's a FREAK!!! NOT WASTING MY PRECIOUS TIME!!!
Sure I'd love to see him – On Dateline's "To Catch A Predator".
....." Why don't you have a seat right over there"
Could'nt pay me enough to want to see him. Thankyou but I'll pass.
He is the King of pop and I know when he will be on stage, no one blaim him and those will shocked who are against him. He is a man of entertainment.I love him alot.
Micheal, made some very terrible decisions in life that has left him so messed up todat...BUT THAT NOT WITH STANDING...........HE IS STILL THE NO. 1 MUSICAL LIVING LEGEND....I APRECIATE HIS TALENT NOT HIS PERSONAL LIFE..SO I STILL WANT TO SEE THE KING OF POP.
The man is having money problems and now he wants to take what we have left. I saw one of his spending sprees in Las Vegas. No thank you, I can find better ways to spend my money and my time.
Yes I Would, many of u would go see Elvis to this day if he were alive.
So don't hate on Michael, cause he worth the price of a concert ticket.
No, I wouldn't want too see this Micheal Jackson. He and I are the same age (50). I grew up with the Jackson 5 and thats when the Micheal Jackson I want too see, was his most talented, before all his strange behavior. He was just pure, natural and you could plainly see his God given talent. Now ,this Micheal Jackson you write about here, should be pityed and just left too fade away with all the other actors and performers who amused us and kept our attention over the years. There will be others and others after that. Years from now MJ will be compared too that of Fatty Orbuckle.
Nothing but, sold out tickets can keep me from it.
I want to see Michael Jackson............"IN JAIL!!!!!!!!!"
sorry, but who cares at times like these. He's not helping the American economy...
No. I mean really? Just, no.
That's a fake MJ! The wig and voice gives it away! L.O.L
Thanks, but no thanks.
curtain call- get lost loser, be gone freak.
yes! we really want him to come back and again prove that he is the best.
I wouldn't go to see the performance or the freak show. Maybe if he was on display at a carnival I'd think about it.
I'd go to see a concert of course. Michael Jackson is a human being, just as we are human as well. The people who should be labeled freaks are the ones who sit or sat at home in their living rooms and watch/watched reports about Michael & family and then have the nervee to pass judgement and take these thoughts & opinions as cold hard fact.
Michael has had his problems but we all do. The only difference is our problems aren't reported world-wide and we are not famous. The things that happened to Michael were due to these things. I really hate people who can so easily judge others they know nothing about but hold no criticisms for themselves.
I don't know Mr. Jackson and neither do they. Only what we've seen in the media. I have no opinion on is personal life one way or the other. It's none of my business becasue I have my own life to deal with. Other people should do exactly the same, worry about and work on yourself and stop being so high and mighty from your couch potato living rooms! You are not so perfect either!
All I'll say is,one would have to be very stupid to be that famous and think they could get away with criminal acts of any kind. I can only say I'd be very disappointed if they were proven to be true. I don't think Michael would be so foolish but again,I don't know the man.
Neither does anyone,really.
I would pay 500.00 dollars to see Paul McCartney, who plays real, timeless music, but I wouldn´t pay 15 dollars to see a freak, freak-out and who appeals to other freaks.
If Michael Jackson was on the street below my building I might look out the window to see him, but I doubt it. I certainly wouldn't go to one of his concerts; while I can apprciate his musical "genius", his life experience has been so "other" that I don't believe he can relate or react to anything normally. He's a mess.
Sorry-I would not walk across the street to see the freak even if it were free.
Don't like the man (he's a weirdo), but love his music. Bring back the 80's!!!!!!!
Michael Jackson is awesome if not a little eccentric. He was truely the King of Pop back in the day. I just don't know how well these concerts are going to be compared to ones over a decade ago. I'm not blaming the man for trying but everyone gets older and a little slower.
I remember watching his huge concert back in the '90s on HBO and was just in awe. But then when he teamed up with N'Sync on stage at an awards show a few years ago he just seemed slow. His spins and pops seemed to be two or three times slower then they were before.
I wish him all the best.
ABSOLUTELY! This is one of the greatest entertainers of all time!
Michael WHO ??
Definitely yes. Micheal Jackson is clearly the greatest performer of all time. All the great performers of today were influenced by him one way or the other. It is very obvious by the way some of them sing, dance and even dress. It is so sad that in America, when someone is so talented some people get so jealous that they want to destroy the person. The Europeans tend to appreciate Michael Jackson more than we do- maybe that's why he feels more comfortable performing there. He did make his mistakes but America needs to learn to forgive- he brought us many happy times with his music. I would like to see MJ come back fully to America and be warmly received because he is a great asset to this country. Don't let the Europeans take him away from us because we do not appreciate him. Does the Bible not say that a prophet dies not get honor from his own hometown ? MJ's talent like many others is a pride to America.Pls let us stop bad-mouthing him-he is one of us.
I have no desire to see him, never have and never will. Looking at him gives me the creeps. He must be in need of money to all of a sudden decide to do 10 concerts.
Do I want to see M. J.? No.
yes.it's been long oveer due.Well come back...
The very question of asking someone whether they would pay to see Michael Jackson is a loaded one, something that anyone and everyone is completely aware of. The mere mention of his name brings about a myriad of feelings from a myriad of people. There are those who would pay to see an icon, while others would pay to see a man broken by the circus that his fame created. While it is undeniable that he is quite possibly the greatest showman of any generation, it is also undeniable that he has created one of the greatest shows on earth...off the stage, out of any recording studio, but instead on the pages of tabloids and ridiculous claims from entertainment 'news' outlets. If Jackson is able to put on a performance that is worthy of the musical legacy that he helped created from his childhood years, then I would assume that the answer would be a resounding YES. But, on the other hand, if these shows are just going to be a showcase of just how far he has fallen, and how he's no longer the man he used to be, Jackson himself, and fans, should steer clear. Regardless of your musical preferences, throughout the decades, Jackson has been able to provide a little something for everyone, and if he can deliver that in these concerts, it may just be a bittersweet return that's to kickoff his final dance across the stage.
HELL NO, are nuts HELL, NO NO
Well, if Britney Spears can have a come back....
No, I wouldn't go see him. He's become such a caricature of himself that I'd just rather remember how great he was in the 1980s.
I wouldn't walk across my living room to see him
No, he really should go back into seclusion. Every time he comes out, something negative happens in his life.
He is not a "freak", just someone who achieved so much at a very young age, and unfortunately did not receive the guidance he needed to handle it.
Yes,it's been long overdue.Well come back........
Not just NO, but *EL* NO.
You have got to be kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to see him headlining a long-running show at a Federal prison. Maybe he could guest the Philippine prison show where they had to dance to 'Thriller' till their feet bled...
(this guy makes these comments too easy!)
No, No, and No. Never have gone to see him, don't like his music, never have liked his music. Wish he would just ride off into the sunset with his veils and disappear.
Michael who..?
Yes! I would love to see Michael. I was a huge fan as a child in the 80's & early-90's yet never had the opportunity to see him perform live. Putting aside his weirdness and self-inflicted "issues", he is still an icon. I hope he performs here in he US. I'd definitely pay to see him. I can't afford to go to London.
This "last dance" thing is just a gimmick to get people in the seats.
He's a huckster, pure and simple.
Not worth my time, much less my money.
I'd like to see MJ just go away
NO WAY!!! He is a freak.
Not a chance You could not pay me to go sit thru that concert i mean comon the guy is plastic and a child molester blah!
Why would I pay good money to go and see Chester the Molester
He is an entertainer and he puts on good shows. I would love to see him again. This whole world is caught up on everyone's personal lives, I can careless! Come back to KC where you started your Victory and BAD tour! I welcome you with open arms!
UHHH – I'll pass
Yeah, I want to see Michael Jackson. In jail for child molestation.
That was the strangest press conference I have ever seen, and that is coming from a former journalist. I have a feeling the true fans will stick by him, but that his "Bow out" last performances will probably be as odd as the conference announcing them. How odd that only a few weeks ago there were lung transplant and death bed reports running about in the press. BTW: I did not realize he was so tall and that he had a British accent.
YES! I want to see Michael Jackson... From 1983. I want that Michael Jackson back. I want Off The Wall Michael, Thriller Michael, and Bad Michael. That's it. The good music and the normal Michael before he went all weird, before the Elephant Man's skeleton, back when he used to be black. Before he had a statue of the Jolly Green Giant in his house, before he went crazy and overdid the plastic surgery, before the Lisa Marie Presley thing, before he somehow managed to end up with white kids that he somehow fathered and dangled over open windows and named Blanket, before he wore pajamas in public and walked around with umbrellas when it wasn't raining. I will actually give him the benefit of the doubt about the molesting thing, but he shouldn't have put himself in such weird situations.
I want him to go back in time and just retire after the album "Bad". He never will be better than he was back then. I feel like I'm remembering a dead person. I feel sorry for him. I want normal MJ back. Please come back Michael. Please.
I do not care to see the man that is today and I am sure that the tickets are very expensive. However, I saw him on TV in the eighties and he was awesome. His moonwalk will always amaze me.
YES!!!
If we can just focus on MJ as a entertainer it all good!!!!!! MJ should just come back and do what he do!!!! SING
OH, PUH-LEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE! If this were the last opportunity in my life to see "live entertainment," I'd still choose to stay home and watch Law & Order reruns. Or HeeHaw. ZzZZZzzzzZZZzzzzzzzzzz
NO! Send that plastic surgery riddled pedophile back to Dubai! Good grief, haven't we had enough of this?! Talk about 'has been'!
Would not see Jackson
Why in the world would anyone want to pay money to see this guy. It is sad that anyone still places any serious value...he is a walking joke. If he were anyone other than who he is he would be rotting in a jail cell instead of rotting in front of the world.
No one has EVER put on a betterlive show
Who gives a flying fig about this wierdo? I'm glad he sold his Neverland Ranch, it gave me the creeps to be within a 100 miles of that wacko...
Saw the Jackson's back in the 80's in LA – it was fabulous – Michael was then too. Since then – he has completely devolved and I have NO interest in seeing him again. He totally creeps me out.
Sure, I'll pay to see Michael Jackson.
It's been downhill ever since Jackson's landmark Thriller album. with his sqeaky voice and health problems, any final concert by him will be a joke, wouldn't walk across the street to see it.
I would ABSOLUTELY attend a Michael Jackson concert. He is a living legend and the songs that made him a legend are still great to listen to. I know he's gonna gives his fans 110% just as he always has.
Spending less to save money for a ticket to London and an O2 ticket to see the legend perform for one last time. If others like me in the States are doing the same, the economy in the US just got a little worse.
Yes i would go and see him..he's the best we have ever had when it comes to singing, dancing and entertaining no one can touch this man no matter what surgies he has had.go muchael we love you here in NC.
Not even if he agreed to perform in my living room! Too creepy by half.
I thought for sure he was announcing that he was really LaToya Jackson. You really can't tell them apart. Most people would want to see this freak about as eagerly as they want to see more of Sara Palin. The entire Jackson clan is soooo over and irrelevant in the real world.
pick.......super bowl or michael jackson concert. i pick the concert. there is only one michael jackson. period
Im 50 years old . .and although Michael may not be the stage performer he was say 10-20 years ago . . as we are all gettin' older . . . Im sure his show will be entertaining, energetic and FABBULOUS!
I ABSOLUTELY . . would be there in a second! Fingers crossed he will be coming to North America . . I would pay good $$ to see him . . .
Welcome Back, Michael . . . Have fun with it!!
Lynda
I want to see Michael Jackson! In jail that is!
I would absolutely go to one of his concerts if they were within a reasonable distance. He is by far the most amazing entertainer of our lifetime! I was a HUGE fan back in the day and would love to see him re-emerge as a force in the pop industry.
My favorite performance of Michael Jackson's would probably be when he performed "Man in the Mirror" at the Grammy Awards, with the choir on stage with him.....wow, brings back lots of great memories!!
Good Luck Michael!!
NO!!!!!!!
why not madonna does it. or and do not forget cher
If given he opportunity I would love to see Michael's final perfomance. I was'nt lucky enough to see his "Vistory" tour but I was right there for "Bad". Because Michael has made a huge impact on the music industry as well as public news my 14 year old daughter has made suggestions on wanting to see him in action even if it were to be his last.
Although Michael's fans (including me) have been forced to make decissions on weather to continue to support him thru some of his personal obsticles; I for one will "Always Be there" to support the "Man in the Mirror". Michael has and will always be one "Bad" performer but in spite of whatever happens.....he will have the "Victory".
I would love to see MJ for the very last time. I have not seen him in person ever. So I will not miss this final chance.
Give it up, Michael. It's over. Clearly, he is in desperate need of cash to be doing this tour now. I have no intention to see him. Be extra careful around your pet chimp, "Bubbles" Michael, he just might rip-off what's left of your face!
Maybe 25 years ago. But not today!
I hope the entire world boycotts this freak show. Why give him money so he can create another "neverland" to molest young kids; then have the money to pay for the lawyers to get off.
Hell no!!! Michael Jackson looks and is a freak as far as I'm concerned!!!!!
not a hope in heck thank you
If Michael Jackson has a great team behind the production of the show, who knows. He has given the world fanstatic entertainment over the years. So lets see what happen this times, I watched some old performance of Elvis and still enjoyed him, you can do the same for Mr. Jackson with a open mind. He,s BAD you know it.
I thought the world was done with this freak.
Michael who?
YES to the 100th power!!!!!!!
sorry to say I am not interested. I was a HUGE, HUGE fan for many years, but I cant imagine him being the performer he once was. He could suprise us all though, but I doubt it. Wishing him well...
I would not see Micheal Jackson if he held the cure for cancer. He has been wildly over-rated since Thriller and I would imagine that his voice has suffered because he no longer has a nose. Please just go away.
All I have to about MJ is WOW, he's broke, I just may be in a better financial situation than he is. WOW, First Mike Tyson, OJ. simpson, and now Michael Jackson, Who's next Chris Brown?
Let us not forget all the great songs he has done as well how fantastic of a entertainer he is. Don't be too harsh.
Hell yeah I would go see him! I've been waiting for over a decade for this to happen!! I CANNOT MISS OUT ON THIS!
Yes I do!!! I love Him!
Who cares? I have no desire to watch a pedofile act like a fool.
Michael Jackson ,once one of the most reknowned names in show business from child to adult, relinquished favor when he decided to use his body as experimentation platform for cosmetology... he bacame Michael Frankenstein, a freak created by his own vanity and apparent insanity.
He is also an alledged pedophile,... safe in Kuait, he should probably stay there for his own good.
As Jimi Hendricks wrote, "I'm gonna waive my freak flag" . . . and so it goes for the once broad nosed boy from Motown...
waive on michael, wave on....
Come on, just look at the crowd in the press conference, he still has it!!!!!!
The page with to get your registration for the pre-sale was crowded. It took me about an hour just to register, imagine what the actual sell would be like, I'm sure the concerts will be sold out and way more than just 10 dates.
You couldn't pay me to go see Michael Jackson in concert.
Who cares!!! He can ride off into the sunset and no one will notice. I was a huge fan in the 80's but after the trials here I wanted to kick him out of our country. All I can say the US is a better place since he went into hidding. Our children here are at least a little safer.
No, he can thrill other people now. I was never a fan but I did appreciate some of his recordings. I saw him in Los Angeles back in 1988 on another supposed "farewell" tour. I thought I had great seats too sitting in row AB, section 2. Little did I know that section one 57 rows in it. If it was not for the jumbotron I would have been staring at the butt of the girl standing on her chair in front of me all night.
I would definitely attend his concert if I he performs in my state. I saw him live with the J-5 when he was around 9 years old and his excetioonal talent was obvious then. Since those years, I have not observed anyone to even come close to his talents. So glad he is performing again.
I would'nt even cross the street to see that "person"
Michael who??? Does anyone care???
I would LOVE to see Michael but I can't afford this. When is he going to perform in the States???
I will def try my best to travel half way around the world to watch this man perform. This is what Michael Jackson does best, and that is perform his songs on stage.
Let's forget all his personal, and legal issues and sit back and watch a legendary performer do his thing.
PRAYING THAT HE DOES A SHOW IN US AFTER LONDON SHOWS. I BET YA THEY ALL WILL BE HIT...
LONG LIVE KING.
(Well what ever he has done behind stage pisses everyone; but you have to give it to him for his performance on stage). Hope he keeps doing what he does good rather than bad stuff.
Wacko Jacko needs to go back to Neverland. Oh thats right, he had to sell that. The freak just wants money because he is going bankrupt. Who wants to watch this mess?
Yes, I'd love to see Michael Jackson – I'd love to see him BEHIND BARS!!!
I still can remember in 1984, when i'd see this guy on TV and comment what a weirdo he was. People would say...."yeah, but he's reallllly talented". No he's not. He's a weirdo. Always was. I love it now that those very same people are NOW shocked by his behavior. I sure hope those people don't cross the street by themselves.
I think the man should just go ahead and call it quits now. His music is outdated, and hasn't been relevant in a decade. He's washed up and needs to accept it instead of trying to pull off one final show, and probably just disappointing his fans.
Emphatically NO! I have heard, and seen enough of him to last a lifetime...I would be totally distracted from watching a performance by him...thinking, "This is the wierdo that dangled over a high balcony a little baby he had the gall to name , "Blanket"...I especially would hate to witness him holding his "crotch" every 5 minutes or less.
Thanks, and I love your show!!

I love to see Michael let me know when he is coming to Florida
Specialle Miami, Florida USA
This guy is soooooo full of himself. His big claim to fame was almost 30 years ago. It seems like the only time in recent history he gets media attention is when he's going to court. So who cares. Just let him fade into the past.
What a joke and a major waste of media time (and to think I'm wasting my time doing this)!!!! Michael Jackson in my opinion is nothing more than a washed up freak – and I do mean freak. From all the previous media reporting, he is in serious debt problems, so he has a concert??? What is the mentality of anyone that would consider spending hard earned money to see such a pitiful person? When I think I've seen it all – the media reports THIS as news!!!!
Of course I want to see Michael Jackson. No one has topped him yet, and his musical legacy is full of the songs that have made my life and so many others a little more exciting. I think we owe him a debt of gratitude for giving so much of himself, his life, to the service of people.
Absolutely I would go. Who wouldn't want to see the undisputed King of Pop perform? I would only hope he hasn't lost his stage charisma and patented moves. Many, many people have imitated him, foremost among them his own sister, but none came close to equaling his ground-breaking talent. Favorite move? Without a doubt, his version of the moonwalk. It inspired millions upon millions, few succeeded and none did it better.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yes! definitely, I would go see a Michael Jackson performance. Are you kidding me? The guy is musical and creative phenom.
Never did want to see him, never will see him.
Sick and TIRED of hearing about this freak.
Ticket prices will be outrageous (because he needs the money) and quite frankly, he's not worth it.
He was great in the Jackson 5, then got weird, had a great comeback with Thriller, got even weirder, then got into hosting "Little Boy Parties" in his bedroom. At this point, any greatness he once had has been lost to history.
Does anyone really give a crap at this point about Michael Jackson?
He sure needs to get over himself!
YES, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A MICHAEL JACKSON PERFORMANCE. HE IS A BRILLIANT ENTERTAINER AND LETS LEAVE IT AT THAT!
I wouldn't go see that little pervert if you dragged me there and any one that would is no less a pedophile than he is
I am a child of the 80's and loved his music then. Now however I don't believe you could pay me enough money to go.
I would have loved to have seen him when he was at the top of his game and still black.
Not a chance.
I wouldnt and I dont care if I ever see him again, I think his time has past. Im sure there are people out there that will go and see him = thats their choice. But I could careless.
Heck no! liked him up through Thriller, since then I have no respect for the man.
NO
Couldn't care less. Tix would have to be free for me to go. The freak factor is high here, so that'd the draw for many. He's over the hill, musically and a tragic, twisted individual. Not a lot of love there. Still, people like the Jonas Brothers, so there's no accounting for taste. He'll probably fill every stadium.
Well, YEAH, I guess I would like to see Michael Jackson again - but that would be the ORIGINAL, pre-plastic surgery, pre-bleaching, pre-insanity version. You know - the REAL Michael Jackson, not this bizarro slice-and-dice model.
If any non-celebrity did one-tenth of the same insane things he's done, he or she would be slammed into the loony bin so fast it would make your head spin. Yet HE can get away with being "quirky" and "eccentric", while still being described as the greatest entertainer in the world.
Um, no. Not any more, and not for a LONG time.
Children of Britain beware!
He is so over. I'm actually embarassed for him. He lost many of us after that fifth or sixth (or whatever number it was) nose job and was left with only cartiledge, and bad cartiledge at that. Michael, go away, You're old and pathetic.
I have been one of his biggest fans my entire life. Unfortunately, I cannot afford a trip to London. i am very disappointed.
hmmm, 90+ minutes late to his own press conference, does not bode well for his fans – if he truly respected them, he would be on time – should we expect this 'lateness' at the concerts after parting with our hard earned money? I caution everyone to think long and hard before comitting their money to what may be yet another ill-fated attempt at a comeback –
No way. He is a freak. Must just need some money.
