While you were working...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • With older sisters like the Kardashians, it seems only natural that Kendall and Kylie Jenner would start a blog to publicly document their lives. We're interested to see what they post, but are slightly confused to discover school apparently "just let out for summer." (Celebuzz)
  • They've piqued our anticipation with a single here and there, but Coldplay has finally announced its next album will be released in the U.K. October 24 and October 25 in the U.S. The album's title is cryptic - "Mylo Xyloto" - but the British rockers usually don't disappoint. (MTV)
  • Guess it helps to have parents like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie when you want to get onto the big screen. Ten-year-old Maddox Jolie-Pitt is set to star in "Battling Boy," produced by Pitt's company. (Huffington Post)
  • With Benjamin Bratt returning to "Modern Family," one of TV's funniest sitcoms is bound for drama in the Jay-Gloria-Manny family. (Entertainment Weekly)
  • Lil Wayne and Drake don't have quite the same star power as Kanye and Jay-Z, but "She Will" seems destined to be a hit. (Rolling Stone)
  • If only everybody could pull off hot pink hair like Dianna Agron. The "Glee" actress is one of many celebs who have been experimenting with a new color. (PEOPLE)

  • The collaboration between Kanye and Jay-Z - "Watch the Throne" - hit No. 1 on iTunes in 23 countries. We're trying to figure out why the obviously brilliant pairing didn't happen sooner. (MTV)
  • Just because it happened six years ago doesn't mean we're over Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's divorce. Reports allege Aniston threw Pitt out of the house when she found out about his relationship with Angelina Jolie in 2005.  (Socialite Life)
  • Matthew McConaughey's "The Lincoln Lawyer" is apparently being made into an ABC show. Maybe there's hope that this one will last longer than a season. (Variety)
  • Cue the sighs of disappointment, indie-rock lovers: Vampire Weekend's only show of the year has been canceled. (Rolling Stone)
