The perpetual little brother of the kitchen, Michael Voltaggio has been crowned Bravo’s newest Top Chef.
The producers really turned last night’s finale of “Top Chef” into a family affair, capitalizing on the shtick of having two brothers in the finale. Not only did the cooking competition pit Bryan and Michael Voltaggio against one another but the show flew in the finalists’ moms to offer last minute support and then brought them to the dinner table to taste their son’s creations. Cute, but also a little awkward! FULL POST

Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo is on the road to recovery.
The singer remains hospitalized after a tour bus crash over the weekend, but is up and walking, according to the band’s official website.
“Yesterday Rivers finally made it onto his feet for the first time since the crash, going on two hospital hallway walks with the aid of a walker,” the band’s webmaster Karl Koch wrote on the website.
“Meanwhile the docs say his insides are continuing to improve, but they have told him that while he will likely be released in the next few days, he ain’t getting on a plane anytime soon…too risky to his lung."
Cuomo broke three ribs in the Sunday morning bus crash, and also suffered a small cut on his spleen as well as a small puncture in one lung. The bus, carrying Cuomo, his family, their nanny and his assistant Sarah Kim, hit a patch of black ice outside Albany and careened off the highway.
The band’s website, which has been diligently updated daily, says that Kim – the only other passenger injured in the crash- also continues to improve.
Kim fractured two ribs and sustained back injuries. She left the hospital to return to Los Angeles with the band and is expected to recover in about a month.

The up-and-coming princess of pop, Lady Gaga, came face to face with Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, and both women seemed delighted by the introduction.
Gaga and Miley Cyrus were among the performers who put on a show for Queen Elizabeth II and her husband at Britain's Royal Variety Performance at an opera house in Blackpool, England, on Monday.
The ever-reserved monarch reportedly giggled when Gaga bowed and shook her hand, which is exactly the reaction most would have upon shaking hands with Lady Gaga! FULL POST

ABC is finally extending an olive branch to Adam Lambert after the network canceled three performances by the singer in the wake of his controversial American Music Awards appearance.
Lambert will appear with the ladies of “The View” talk show on Thursday in a taped interview and performance, according to the show’s Web site. The episode airs after Wednesday night’s Barbara Walters primetime special, which features Lambert as one of the year’s “Most Fascinating People.”

The Tiger Woods scandal provided plenty of comedic fodder for "Saturday Night Live" this week as the cast mocked Woods’ car crash and affair allegations.
This weekend’s show was hosted by “Gossip Girl” cast-member Blake Lively, who - with her long blonde hair - stepped in as the perfect double in skits involving Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren.
In a skit featuring a Tiger Woods’ press conference with CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer,” Lively stood by cast member Kenan Thompson, who played Woods. In the skit Tiger is portrayed as apologizing for his “multiple transgressions,” to which Lively’s Nordegrin looks angry and shocked.
The scene then cut away to a news studio before rejoining an injured Woods holding another press conference outside his Florida home. The supposedly terrified Woods, played by Thompson with his arm in a sling, held up covert signs for camera that were hidden from his wife saying, “I’m scared.”
The skit continued with Lively's Nordegren chasing Woods from the press conference in a rage.
The jabs continued in the “Weekend Update” news report where anchor Seth Meyers referred to Woods’ car accident and said: “Last Friday, Tiger Woods hit a tree and a bunch of ladies fell out.”
The jokes come as women continue to allege that they had affairs with the professional golfer following his admission of “transgressions” last week. The controversy first erupted over the Thanksgiving holiday when Woods sustained injuries in a car accident outside his Florida home.
