'Louie' reconciles with Marc Maron - againOn Thursday night’s “Louie,” the title character reconnected with an old friend and with a bizarre former acquaintance. When Dolores approached Louie outside their children’s school, a flashback reminded us of their sexual encounter last season. (Dolores begged to be spanked, then collapsed sobbing.)

Bill incites war on 'True Blood'On Sunday night’s “True Blood,” the Authority enacted Bill’s evil plan by bombing the world’s largest Tru Blood factory. The only sane vampires left in the Authority, Eric and Molly, plotted their escape. Eric invited Bill, giving him one last chance to join the Mainstreamers.

'Louie': How not to become like BarneyLast night’s episode of “Louie” was the first of the season to include two separate short films and no stand-up. In the first half, Louie attended a burial on a dreary day. He stood alone, until another man arrived - Robin Williams. (Wasn’t it wonderful to see him?)

Bill gets evil on 'True Blood'[This post contains spoilers for the July 29 episode of HBO's "True Blood."] On Sunday's “True Blood,” the Authority finally came up with a plan end mainstreaming in society – and the evil idea was Bill’s. When Eric, Bill and the Authority members stumbled back into the headquarters, only Eric seemed lucid. (“We were in the presence of God,” Bill marveled. “We were high as f*****g kites,” Eric corrected.)

'Louie' dates Tape Recorder[This post contains spoilers for the July 26 episode of "Louie."] On last night's episode, Louie and Parker Posey’s character went out on a date. A really incredible date. Though not necessarily in a good way. Tape Recorder (I know her real name is Liz, but Tape Recorder suits her) took Louie to a bar. Unbeknownst to him, the bartender alluded that his date had a drinking problem. Mortified, she rushed out of the bar, claiming it was too crowded. |
