Ron Burgundy, award-winning newsman and hot dog eating contest runner-up, can now add "author" to his long list of accolades.
The classy (and fictional) anchor, played by Will Ferrell in 2004's hit comedy "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," is ready to release a book called "Let Me Off At The Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings." (If Burgundy's love of literature is any indication, it might even be bound in leather.)

For fans, the who in Doctor Who has been answered.
The long-running TV show has been looking for a new Time Lord to travel in the TARDIS, and now they have him. As revealed on Sunday, Peter Capaldi is the 12th actor to don the bow-tie and scarf following Matt Smith, who's moving on from battling The Master across the time continuum.
"It's so wonderful not to keep this secret any longer," Capaldi said in a live broadcast reveal on the BBC. "I haven't played Doctor Who since I was 9 on the playground."

The Rebel Alliance has apparently begun recruitment.
The website Bleeding Cool News reports that casting has begun in the U.K., and has posted confirmed casting breakdowns for "Star Wars Episode VII," pointing to a list of seven descriptions of possible character types, a sampling of which you can see below:

Shailene Woodley's role as one of Spider-Man's greatest love interests, Mary Jane Watson, has been cut from the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel, according to a statement from the film's director, Marc Webb.

"Star Wars Episode VII" will take J.J. Abrams to a galaxy far, far away - and reportedly also to London.
"We are, most likely, if all goes as planned, going to be moving to London at the end of the year for the 'Star Wars' movie," Abrams said Saturday at the Produced By Conference, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
