Taylor Swift on track to set record amid breakup rumorsTaylor Swift is on track to join the very short list of artists and groups who’ve had back-to-back albums sell a million units in a week. In the Nielsen SoundScan era, which dates back to 1991, just the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync and Eminem have accomplished the fete, each with albums releasing between 1999 and 2002, Billboard reports. If Swift’s “Red” hits the million mark by Sunday, the country-pop princess will become the first artist in a decade, and first ever female, to achieve the same success. Her last studio album, “Speak Now,” sold more than a million units during its debut week in November 2010. But before we go deeming this Swift’s (potential) “best week ever,” we should note, the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer reportedly parted ways with beau Conor Kennedy, according to US Weekly.

'Pretty Little Liars' does Halloween rightBetween the dead bodies, the hostage situation and the creepy little girl ghost, there definitely wasn't a shortage of drama on “Pretty Little Liars’ ” second annual Halloween special. Prior to Tuesday's episode, executive producer Marlene King made it clear that viewers would learn a big secret about the night Ali was killed. But in true “PLL” fashion, the Halloween special raised more questions than answers. Here’s what we know:

'Jersey Shore': Times have changedCue up the Boyz II Men, “Jersey Shore’s” sixth and final season is underway. Not unlike past season premieres, Thursday's episode kicked off as the gang prepared for a summer of booze, brawls and one-night stands in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Of course, there were a few notable differences, like The Situation’s sobriety and Snooki’s growing baby bump. (The reality star gave birth to baby Lorenzo in August.)

Seth MacFarlane to host 85th Academy AwardsIt’s amazing what talking into the wrong microphone at the Emmy Awards can do for your career. Just one week after Seth MacFarlane’s mic mishap, which he recovered from by joking, “This is what happens when you don’t come to rehearsal,” CNN has confirmed that the “Family Guy” creator will host the 85th Academy Awards.
