The mourning of Michael Clarke Duncan will continue early next week as invited parties gather for a private memorial service.
A family spokesperson tells CNN that an invitation-only funeral will be held on Monday, September 10, and will be led by Bishop Charles Blake, with a eulogy from Dr. H. Beecher Hicks.
"The Green Mile" star Michael Clarke Duncan was hospitalized Friday after suffering a heart attack, a rep for Duncan tells CNN.
The 54-year-old actor was taken to a Los Angeles hospital, where doctors report that Duncan "suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning," the actor's rep says. "He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”
According to TMZ, it was Duncan's girlfriend Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, a reality star and former contestant on "The Apprentice," who acted quickly and provided life-saving efforts.
TMZ reports that Stallworth found Duncan in a state of cardiac arrest around 2 a.m. on Friday, performed CPR and was able to resuscitate him.
Ashton Kutcher's participation in a Popchips video campaign has gone viral, alright, but because of complaints of racism.
The minute-and-a-half long video debuted Wednesday, and presents a string of "bachelors" who are part of a "world wide" dating service, with 34-year-old Kutcher portraying all of the eligible men, including Bollywood producer Raj.
Kutcher, wearing a wig, brown makeup and a mustache, tells viewers in what's likely intended to be an Indian accent that he's looking for "the most delicious thing on the planet."
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards may not be compatible in marriage, but what about on the job?
Richards, who divorced Sheen in 2006 after a four-year marriage, is set to guest star on the actor's upcoming FX show, "Anger Management."
Richards, 41, will portray the business partner of Sheen's on-screen ex, Jennifer, as played by Shawnee Smith, TVLine reports.
Kim Kardashian may have asked for a divorce, but her estranged husband Kris Humphries wants something a little different.
The NBA player is seeking a legal separation, his rep tells CNN, and does not plan to go through with signing the divorce papers Kim filed on October 31. That way, the couple's 72-day marriage could then be annulled.
Update, 4:30 p.m.: Kris Humphries' rep tells CNN that he has filed to legally separate from and nullify his marriage to Kim Kardashian. (And, by the way: Any reports you see about him being gay aren't true, the rep says.)
According to People magazine, this is a new plan for Kris. Sources close to the basketball player had previously claimed that he wanted to sign off on the divorce and move forward.
CNN has confirmed that Bil Keane, artist and creator of beloved long-running comic "The Family Circus," died Tuesday at his family's home in Paradise Valley, Arizona at the age of 89.
His son Jeff tells CNN that the cause of death was congestive heart failure, which Jeff says his father suffered from "for quite a while."
In a post on his website that demonstrates the Philadelphia native's particular brand of humor, Keane recounts that he taught himself to draw and began cartooning in high school.
