'DWTS': Snooki cries over elimination

After escaping judgment last week, contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" had to face the music Monday night.

And when it came down to it, a sultry samba wasn't enough to save the "Jersey Shore's" Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. Although Snooks earned a 27 for her routine with pro partner Sasha Farber - and out-scored the other pair in peril, Bill Engvall and Emma Slater, she wound up being the latest celebrity sent home from "DWTS."

'Pacific Rim' is a 'Guillermo film on steroids'

Five years after "Hellboy II," Guillermo del Toro is back with another movie that has his signature all over it.

The filmmakers robots-vs.-monsters July 12 epic "Pacific Rim" has been a labor of love, but del Toro told CNN at the sci-fi thriller's Los Angeles premiere that he couldn't "be happier" with the way it's turned out.

"This is a Guillermo film on steroids," del Toro said at Tuesday's event.
