The music is different, but the intense fandom for One Direction isn't far off from the screaming fans who would mob the Rolling Stones, says the band's legendary frontman, Mick Jagger.
The rocker has picked up on the recent fervor for 1D, as the five-member group is called, and Jagger told CNN at Tuesday's premiere of the film "Crossfire Hurricane" that the group reminds him of his band's younger years.

It's understandably hard to choose a favorite "Bond girl" in the 50-year James Bond franchise, but there's one who holds a particularly special place in Daniel Craig's heart.
The current James Bond, who'll next be seen in November's "Skyfall," told CNN that he thinks "Diana Rigg is kind of my favorite."

Another Hollywood couple is splitting up, but thus far are keeping quiet as to the cause.
Danny DeVito, 67, and actress Rhea Perlman, 64, have separated, DeVito's rep confirms to CNN. The actor pair aren't going to a release a statement.
According to People magazine, the "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor met "Cheers" star Perlman in 1970, backstage at one of his off-Broadway performances.
In two weeks, Perlman had moved in, the magazine says, and they married in 1982 while on a lunch break from the TV series "Taxi." The comedy, which ran from 1978 to 1983, was just one of their working projects together, including 1996's "Matilda."
