What in the world is 'Hot Tub Time Machine?'

Basic hot tub safety calls for these precautions:
- Keep the water temperature below 104° F
- Drain once a month and scrub with bleach
- Never dunk your head below the water

Thanks to John Cusack, you can add this tip:
- Don’t pour a weird Russian energy drink into the motor while partying with three friends and your nephew. Unless you want to go back in time.

That’s the set up for Cusack’s new comedy, “Hot Tub Time Machine” in which he and co-stars Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry and Clark Duke play a quartet of underachievers in life and love. After a night of copious drinking at a ski lodge, they test out the hotel hot tub only to have the aforementioned energy beverage spill into the pump. That triggers a hot tub spin cycle that propels them magically back to 1986. “This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures”, according to the overheated press notes for the film.
