Season 2 of  "The X Factor" is premiering tonight with new celebrity judges Spears and Demi Lovato, and we will be live blogging. Join us for the highs, the lows, the tears - and that may be just from the judges.

The two-hour debut runs tonight from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST on Fox. Based on the commercials and previews, are you excited for the new season?

Chris Brown's rep on his tattoo: It's not Rihanna

A new tattoo on Chris Brown's neck is raising some eyebrows.

The singer's new ink is a black-and-white image of what some believe is a woman's battered face. Brown pled guilty in 2009 to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna and was ordered to serve five years probation. He also completed community service and a domestic violence program.

Finding friendships in 'For A Good Time, Call'

If your college experience included becoming friends with an actress and working on a phone sex hotline (just stay with us here), then of course you'd cast your bestie if you ended up making a movie about said friends and their phone sex business. Right?

That’s just what writer Katie Anne Naylon did, and the result is the recently released independent film “For a Good Time, Call,” which draws on her experience working as a phone sex operator while a freshman.

Sex and the single girl in pop culture

The passing of Helen Gurley Brown and the engagement of America's sweetheart Jennifer Aniston may not seem to be connected, but they are when you think in terms of liberated women.

Gurley Brown, the former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, literally wrote the book on "Sex and the Single Girl" in 1962. The book focused on single women in an age where they were becoming more independent sexually and financially.

Tom Green gets his first stand-up comedy special

Tom Green has been around for so long that it's hard to believe he's never had a stand-up comedy special before.

"I've been doing comedy in one form or another since I was a kid, for the last 20 years or so," the funnyman told CNN. "I started doing stand-up when I was a teenager, and got into broadcasting with my television show. I started touring two or three years ago and I've really thrown myself into stand-up comedy."
