“White Collar's” Matt Bomer might guest star on an April episode of “Glee” as … wait for it … Blaine’s (Darren Criss) older brother. Hoping the on-screen siblings sing a duet. [The Hollywood Reporter]

It’s a girl! “Horrible Bosses” actress Lindsay Sloane and her husband Dar Rollins welcomed their first child, Maxwell Lue, on Thursday. [People]

The name’s Blonde. Mr. Blonde. Former “Alias” star Kevin Weisman has joined the cast of NBC’s new drama, “Awake,” as a recurring character named - you guessed it - Mr. Blonde. [Entertainment Weekly]

It looks like Nick Cannon is feeling better and eager to get back to the gym. Three weeks after suffering a “mild kidney failure,” the actor tweeted, “My doctor said today is the first day that I can work out again. I got to get back to fight weight! THE HULK is on his way back!” [Twitter]

The comedy, starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, will open on Valentine’s Day with its desired PG-13 rating, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

THR reports that, after receiving an R rating from the Classification and Rating Administration, which administers movie ratings, 20th Century Fox agreed to cut sexual jokes made by Chelsea Handler's character, ensuring a PG-13 rating.

MPAA Ratings Chief Joan Graves defends the system on the administration’s website, stating, “The ratings system exists for one purpose: to inform parents about the content of films. Our ratings reflect how we believe a majority of American parents … would rate a film. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously.”

“This Means War” is about two CIA operatives (Pine and Hardy) who turn on each other when they realize they’re competing for the same woman (Witherspoon).

Oprah will spend her 58th birthday with media tycoon Ted Turner… on TV, that is.

The birthday girl interviews Turner about his hard work and achievements on Sunday’s episode of “Oprah's Master Class” - Winfrey’s OWN talk show that features a “look into the minds of true modern masters,” according to Oprah.com.

During the interview, Turner, who created CNN in 1980, tells the talk show host how he came up with the idea for the Cable News Network:

"I worked 'til 6 or 7 o'clock at night,” he said. “By the time I got (home), the news was, the early news was over and I had to go to bed at 10 because I got up really early to go to work … I missed the 11 o'clock news. … So I, I never saw television news. And I knew there were a lot of people like me. I knew that if it was on all the time, like - and all news radio had already proven successful. So I figured, you know, if it worked on radio it would work on TV too.”

“Master Class” features stars and personalities sharing their stories of success. The show has also featured celebs like Goldie Hawn and Morgan Freeman.

This will be Winfrey's first birthday since her incredibly popular daytime talk show went off the air. Leave your birthday wishes for O below!

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss has some opinions about her Beverly Hills counterparts, and she’s not afraid to share them.

Burruss told CNN she doesn’t agree with Taylor Armstrong’s memoir, which details her marriage to the late Russell Armstrong.

“I’m sure that there were problems there, and I sympathize with her,” Burruss said. “But, I mean, you know, there are two sides to every coin and I just don’t feel the need to speak on someone who is not here anymore. That is just me.”

The Atlanta housewife also said she thought it was “obvious” that Kim Richards was an alcoholic.

“I didn’t know it was a secret … but, you know, sometimes people have issues within themselves but they don’t want to admit it out loud - but everyone else can see it,” she said.

As for Burruss, she’s currently celebrating an American Adult Video Award for best new sex toy line.

“We just won this past weekend,” she said. “Mmmhhmm. Bedroom Kandi.”

Bedroom Kandi is the housewife’s line of pleasure products.

After Obama sang the first line of Al Green's “Let's Stay Together” at a January 19 fund-raising event at New York's Apollo Theater, the song got a 490% sales boost, according to Nielsen SoundScan via Billboard.

The video of Obama singing went viral, prompting 16,000 downloads to be sold that week, Billboard reported.

“Don’t worry, Rev. I cannot sing like you, but I just wanted to show my appreciation,” Obama said to Green (who was also in attendance) after his short serenade.

After one contestant dressed as Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman,” another, Isabella Barrett, was filmed singing LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It” at an event.

Barrett’s mother, Susanna, has since filed a lawsuit against TMZ, Huffington Post and Daily Mail Online, among other media outlets, for running stories that she alleges “sexualize” her 5-year-old daughter, according to court documents obtained by CNN.

“After this firestorm, I quickly protected my daughter by having cease and desist orders sent to most media outlets that ran the story,” Susanna said in a statement provided to CNN, adding, “I intend to clear my daughter’s name.”

Barrett also detailed her version of the events shown in a video published by TMZ. (In the video, Isabella can be seen singing along to “Sexy and I Know It” at a DJ booth with a microphone in her hand.)

News organizations reported that the Barrett’s were at a nightclub, however, Susanna said in her statement that she and her daughter were actually at “a pet friendly charity event at an American bistro restaurant in New York City at 7:19 p.m. It was a private well-lit event with vendor tables and pets in attendance.”

The gang’s Shore Store boss wasn’t happy with his slacking employees on last night’s episode of “Jersey Shore.” With Vinny out of the picture, he even threatened to hire a new employee/roommate/cast member.

Seriously? You’re expecting hard work from a group of people who’ve made a fortune by getting drunk and fist pumping?

No wonder they’re not interested in printing “GTL” (among the other catch phrases THEY invented) on the butt of some chick’s sweatpants.

The rest of the episode was pretty standard:

Snooki bought a giant bunny costume and used it to scare her roommates.

Deena wore a pair of fairy wings out in public on a day other than Halloween.

The Situation brought a stripper home and lent her a new pair of socks.

Sammi got into a bar fight with a female club-goer who yanked at her new weave.

In the end, Pauly D and Sitch’s surprise Karma birthday bash was a success. But what does it matter if Vinny isn’t there to share it with you?

So, the gang hopped in the car and set out to rescue their roommate from Staten Island.

Vin (and his giant new chest tattoo) agreed to head back to Seaside Heights with the crew. And they all lived happily ever after. Or something like that.

What did you think of last night’s episode?

Not bad for a few nerds.

Before I get to Thursday's recap, I'd like to note, "The Big Bang Theory" beat "American Idol" head-to-head from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the all-important 18-49 demographic.

The Leonard and Penny story arc certainly seems to be attracting viewers. And this time, it wasn't a dream.

Leonard tried out his theory of treating dating like a beta test, but their "bug reports" for each other obviously didn't help the relationship (they also argued over Penny's knowledge of the term "beta test").

A "Doctor Who" watching date didn't work out either (no Who-Con for you, Penny!), but the shooting range was more Penny's speed – until Leonard got shot.

So far, so good for "Lenny," but I think they have a long road ahead of them.

I was thoroughly entertained by Sheldon and Amy's flag podcast, and Raj's misadventures with his new girlfriend, Siri (and the fact that he froze up in front of the "real" Siri. (Also, loved Amy's constant defense of the – in her mind – flawless Penny.)

What were your favorite moments? Are you pulling for "Lenny" to work out? Share your view on iReport or comment below.

We got two new episodes of “30 Rock” this week! It was a welcome feast for those of us still recovering from eight months without Liz Lemon.

In the first episode, Jack’s arch nemesis, Devin Banks, returned to blackmail him with more videos of Tracy’s offensive stand up routines. Banks' impossible price? He wanted Jack to get his triplets into an exclusive private school.

Back at Liz’s apartment, Criss was enthralled in his hot dog business - “Yesterday, that was the face, feet, and colon of a pig.” But Liz wrestled with her subconscious, which included not only Jack, but also a pessimistic version of herself (dressed as a pageant queen with a lightsaber).

Meanwhile, on behalf of all idiots, Tracy and Denise Richards demanded that Liz read the public apology they wrote on an Etch-a-Sketch. It didn’t take Liz long to veer off script, yelling, “Because of you, there may be an 'Entourage' movie!”

She eventually realized she’d be an idiot to let Criss get away. She ran right to his hot dog stand where the pair flirted over mustard.

Devin, however, is no idiot. It turns out he was just trying to trick Jack with his private school request. Jack then realizes that Liddy will succeed no matter what - even if she can’t major in confidence at Northwestern University. He then finds Criss and tells him, “If a poor boy from Boston can become me, maybe you can become a suitable sex partner for Liz Lemon.”

And finally, last week’s big question is answered - how did Pete end up on the floor of his office with a plastic bag over his head and his pants around his ankles? The best friends gang set him up! As it turns out, Kenneth, Jenna and Kelsey Grammar were the biggest idiots of all.

The next episode explored the intimate relationships between TGS employees.

Jenna’s ego had inflated because of her potential blockbuster “Martin Luther King Day,” - tagline “Got MLK?” - co-starring R2D2 and that flight attendant that went crazy.

When Liz found Jenna in her dressing room, the diva was pouring vodka into her humidifier and wearing leeches on her face. (Just a normal day - except her fecalist was in jail for attacking her Kabbalahist so she and Liz could go to lunch at Outback Steakhouse!)

After Sue shunned Liz's attempt at friendship, Liz approached a pack of “Sex and City” knock-offs at a bar. But Liz soon realized this was not her crowd, and hightailed it to the Barnes & Noble bathroom.

Meanwhile, after failing to receive any birthday presents, Tracy was also feeling distant from his best friend - material possessions.

At the end of the episode, all the best friends were reunited. Jenna discovered, “I need someone who has so little going on in her life she lets me get all the attention.” Liz replied “I need someone in my life who doesn’t listen to a word I say.” Jack told Kenneth that “no machine could ever be the human waste basket that I dump my stupid mistakes into.” And Tracy finally got his presents - all of which were things he already owned.

What did you think of tonight’s episodes?

Even with the ability to nominate 10 movies for the best picture category, the Academy Awards manages to rile the moviegoing public with snubs, year after year.

This year's round of nominations in the best picture category alone had film fans crying foul over the inclusion of "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close," without any love for the movies some wanted to see acknowledged, such as "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "Bridesmaids."

But if history has taught us anything, it's that an Oscar isn't necessarily indicative of what will stand the test of time. If you're annoyed with the Academy for failing to highlight what you thought was one of the best of 2011, take comfort in the fact that these five classics didn't get best picture nods when they were released either.

The list of snubs from the Academy is a seemingly endless one, and can be broken down into a variety of categories. Here's just a few titles that weren't in the running for the top honor, yet are now seen as some of the best films of the last 60 years, or so.

Additionally, a few of the more recent best picture snubs get honorable mentions.

We know you're itching to amend, re-arrange, and add some titles to this round-up - so, cinephiles, the floor is yours in the comments.

1. "Singin' in the Rain" (1952) - The Academy didn't get the same "glorious feeling," apparently. "High Noon"; "Moulin Rouge"; "Ivanhoe"; "The Quiet Man"; and the year's winner, "The Greatest Show on Earth," were nominated instead.

2. "Vertigo" (1958) - Funnily enough, the director of one of this awards season's most mentioned movies, "The Artist," got into something of a conflict with "Vertigo" star Kim Novak because he used the score to Hitchcock's classic in his 2011 black-and-white ode to cinema.

3. "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) - This "epic drama of adventure and exploration" was passed over in favor of "Funny Girl"; "The Lion in Winter"; "Rachel, Rachel"; "Romeo and Juliet"; and the year's best picture winner, "Oliver!".

4. "Some Like It Hot" (1959) - A famous work of Marilyn Monroe's that earned six nods that year, but missed the best picture category.

Interestingly, although Monroe herself was never nominated for an Academy Award, Michelle Williams currently is up for the best actress Oscar for playing the screen siren in "My Week with Marilyn."

5. "Psycho" (1960) - Alfred Hitchcock was nominated for directing this feature, but the iconic thriller didn't make it into the year's best picture category.

Honorable mentions:

"Do the Right Thing" (1989)

"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (2004)

"The Dark Knight" (2008)
