Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin head to Netflix, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • As if we're not logging enough hours on our coach glued to our screens, Netflix has just tempted us with another binge-watching opportunity. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, who first stole our hearts with their combined wit in "Nine to Five," are going to star in a comedy from Howard J. Morris and "Friends" creator Marta Kaufmann called "Grace and Frankie." The "very different kind of sitcom" is about two older women whose long-held rivalry is put on the back burner after their husbands announce that they're in love with one another and plan on getting married, leaving their wives behind. The 13-episode series is set to premiere next year.
  • Meanwhile, Billy Crystal and Josh Gad are starring in a new FX comedy about the lives of an established comedian and an upstart in the creatively titled "The Comedians." [LAT]
  • One of Pamela Anderson's biggest fears about cutting her trademark long hair was how it would affect her sex life - and not in the way you'd think. "I thought it would be weird having sex with short hair," the former "Baywatch" star says, "but then I kind of got into the mode." And now we know something about Anderson that we did not know before. [Elle]
  • If you want to see Eminem and Rihanna in concert, you've only got three nights to choose from. The duo, who've paired up on "Love the Way You Lie" and their recent hit "Monster," will take the stage for "The Monster" tour in August in Los Angeles, New York and Detroit. [Eminem.com]
  • Anna Kendrick is going to host "Saturday Night Live" for the first time on April 5 (with musical guest Pharrell), and she's going to be amazing. We're calling it now. [THR]
  • In honor of hump day, here's the second half of the purported Lindsay Lohan lust list, now with more famous names. [The Blemish]
  • "Game of Thrones" season four: Let the countdown begin.

Kate Gosselin back on TLC, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Kate Gosselin has been technically done with reality TV for a few years, but in reality, she's still open to cameras chronicling her family's every move. The mom of eight has signed up for a one-hour "catch up" special that will air on her old network home, TLC, in June. [THR]
  • Keep your eyes peeled for a confirmed casting announcement for the lead role in J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: Episode VII." The movie is officially launching production in May.
  • OK, fine - you got us, Ashton Kutcher. We're totally swooning over the fact that he asked Mila Kunis' dad for his blessing before he popped the question. But on the other hand, we hope his ex Demi Moore doesn't read about this: "It was important to Ashton to be respectful and traditional," a source spills. "This is the real thing for him and he wants to do it all right." [People]
  • On "Late Night with Seth Meyers" Monday, Anderson Cooper finally confirms that Meyers isn't gay:
  • Here's the Prince and Zooey Deschanel collaboration you didn't know you wanted. (Why are they performing a duet? Remember, he killed it on "New Girl" back in February.)

  • We're getting nightmares already about "American Horror Story" season 4! It's going to unfold in the creepiest of all creepy places: a carnival. [CBS]
  • Angus T. Jones has absolutely zero regrets about leaving "Two and a Half Men." A student at the University of Colorado at Boulder, the 20-year-old has put his days of being a "paid hypocrite" behind and is looking forward to working on "Bible-based stories." [Deadline]
  • Oof: Rumor has it Jason Aldean is dating the woman he was caught getting "close" with at a bar in 2012 while he was still married. [GossipCop]
  • When "Family Guy" goes to Nashville, it's only natural that they run into Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.

Someone threw up on Gaga, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • About that "Rocky" musical: survey says it's actually pretty good. [Variety]
  • Kristin Cavallari hasn't vaccinated her 18-month-old son, Camden, and she doesn't plan to vaccinate the baby she has on the way. "I've read too many books about autism, and there's some scary statistics out there," she's said of her decision. [Us Weekly]
  • Some of us head to the local shelter or rec center to volunteer. But when Arnold Schwarzenegger gets involved with charity work, he gasses up the M47 tank and runs things over. [Time]
  • Backstreet's back with a new North American leg on their world tour. The band announced Friday that they're going to kick off a summer trek in Canada on May 3. [HuffPost]

Seth Rogen still doesn't like Bieber, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Seth Rogen was one of the first celebrities to poke fun at Justin Bieber after he was arrested in Miami earlier this year, and after that deposition tape the actor is even more unimpressed. On Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" Wednesday, Rogen said in his opinion, "Justin Bieber is a piece of s*** ... He seems like he's obnoxious and ungrateful." [Bravo]
  • Pretty much everything you currently watch on CBS is returning for another season. The only shows hanging in the balance are "The Crazy Ones," "The Mentalist" and "Intelligence." [Celebuzz]
  • The TV gods are spreading the blessings today: The fourth season of "Louie" now has a premiere date. Mark your calendars/set your DVRs for .... May 5. [E!]

Shailene Woodley's not a 'Twilight' fan, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • For "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley, not all YA novels and the movies they spawn are made equal. The actress has criticized "Twilight" for sending teens inappropriate messages about relationships. "'Twilight,' I'm sorry, is about a very unhealthy, toxic relationship. She falls in love with this guy and the second he leaves her, her life is over and she's going to kill herself!" Woodley said. "What message are we sending to young people? That is not going to help this world evolve." [MTV]
  • Now that we know Rihanna is the one who got Drake hooked on "Breaking Bad," we can't stop envisioning them in their sweats with their hair tied and no makeup on having a binge-fest in a posh hotel room. [NYMag's Vulture]
  • Between Prince and Roy Orbison, there technically is a good foundation for "Pretty Woman" the movie to be turned into a musical, which director Garry Marshall's working on as we speak. [NYPost]
  • Alan Thicke is returning to TV in a potentially inappropriately titled reality series called "Unusually Thicke." Sure enough, his son Robin is expected to make an appearance or two. The series premieres April 16. [TVGuide]
  • There's an alleged "Lindsay Lohan sex list" flying around the Web today that purports to display the names of at least 36 of the stars LiLo's slept with. While we can't endorse the veracity of the list, we do think playing "MSK" with it sounds like a good time. [The Daily Beast]
