  • Kristin Chenoweth hospitalized after getting injured on set of "The Good Wife":
    Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to the hospital after being injured while filming on the set of "The Good Wife" Wednesday, according to her publicist. Chenoweth is now back home and recuperating from the incident. Her rep tells CNN: “Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”

Here's a round-up of the latest confirmed reports from the CNN Entertainment Unit:

  • Coldplay is launching a new comic book series: Coldplay's announced on its official website that the band's going to launch its own comic book series, "Mylo Xyloto," at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend. (Because, you know, why  not?) The comic will be part of a six-part series, which, clearly, will be based around Coldplay’s latest album. “Three years ago we had an idea with our friend [M]ark [O]sborne about a character called mylo xyloto ("xylo" as in xylophone, "to" as in toe)," says a statement on Coldplay's website. "[G]radually mylo's story and universe came together and this ended up providing the backdrop for the album and tour. [N]ow we're proud to announce that early next year the story's going to come out as a six-part comic. [A]nd to kick things off  mark's going to be holding a panel at comic con in san diego this week.”
  • Judge orders audit on Chris Brown’s community service progress: On Tuesday, July 10, Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg ordered an audit of Chris Brown’s community service progress. The court tells CNN that a probation report on Brown was not submitted during yesterday’s hearing, as was previously ordered by the probation department. Brown’s next hearing date is scheduled for August 21, and the singer has been ordered to appear in court that day.
  • Basketball star Shaquille O’Neal gets new series on truTV: Joining the ranks of athletes-turned-reality stars (we're looking at you, Lamar Odom), Shaquille O'Neal has a show coming to truTV called "Upload with Shaquille O'Neal" (a working title). The series is the product of a collaboration between Shaq Entertainment, truTV, and FishBowl Worldwide Media. Said Bruce Gersh, CEO of FishBowl Worldwide Media, in a press release from the network, "Our creative team, headed by Susan Levison, developed a unique show that showcases Shaquille's sense of humor, and his ability to identify the most outrageous videos online."

  • Biebs' need for speed gets him a ticket:
    A rep for California Highway Patrol tells CNN that 18-year-old Justin Bieber was hit with a speeding ticket in Los Angeles Friday morning around 10:45 a.m. PT. The rep didn't know how fast Biebs was going, but a rep for the teen star says he was hustling his way to a music video shoot. (He's since arrived safely.)
  • 'Twilight' star Jackson Rathbone becomes a dad:
    How much do you want to bet that a lot of that "Twilight Saga" money Jackson Rathbone's earned playing Jasper Hale is now being socked away into a college fund? We wouldn't be surprised, considering that Rathbone's now the proud dad of a little boy, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI, whom Rathbone welcomed along with his girlfriend on July 5 at 9:43 a.m.
  • Rapper Crunchy Black shot in face and leg: According to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, former Three 6 Mafia member Crunchy Black was shot in the face and leg in Las Vegas on July 1. The police department tells CNN in a statement that "The injuries were not reported as life threatening, but appeared to result in substantial bodily harm." The department added in the statement that "no suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting," and that "the criminal case is being investigated as an attempt murder."

Here's the latest confirmed news from CNN Entertainment:

  • Drake and Chris Brown offered $1 million each to fight: An organization called Celebrity Boxing Gym has offered both Chris Brown and Drake - the two hip-hop stars named in an alleged altercation at a New York nightclub two weeks ago - $1 million a piece to fight each other in the ring. They've even reached out to Rihanna - who reports speculated was the reason for the brawl - to be the ring girl. Yep. A rep for the Celebrity Boxing Gym tells CNN that they're waiting to hear back from reps for both Drake and Chris Brown, and that while they're "99.9 percent sure" Rihanna's going to pass, they're positive she'd watch the fight, if it were to happen. Proceeds would go to benefit a charity that helps abused women.
  • Jennifer Lawrence helps collapsed girl: Add Jennifer Lawrence to the growing list of celebrities you want around when you need a helping hand. The 21-year-old "Hunger Games" star came to the aid of an underage girl on Monday after the young woman collapsed on the front lawn of Lawrence's Los Angeles apartment complex. Lawrence was one of those attempting to offer help when police arrived around 6:49 p.m. Police say the young woman was treated on the spot and cleared to go.
  • 50 Cent suffers minor injuries after car crash: Rapper 50 Cent was in a car accident in New York early on Tuesday, but thankfully he only suffered minor injuries. His rep tells CNN that he was "taken to New York Hospital Queens, where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."

  • "Mad Men" marks a record: AMC says that Sunday's fifth season finale of "Mad Men" was the most-watched in the show's history, with 2.7 million people tuned in.
  • Oprah chats with the Kardashians: The Kardashians will continue their TV reign by making a stop by OWN to sit down with Oprah. In what it calls a "primetime exclusive," OWN will air the interview as two back-to-back episodes on "Oprah's Next Chapter" this Sunday, June 17.
  • Lindsay Lohan's back on set as Liz Taylor: Lohan's rep tells CNN that LiLo's back on set filming Lifetime's "Liz & Dick" following her car accident on Friday. “She has fully cooperated with law enforcement and we're going to let them do their job while Lindsay does hers," her rep said.
  • Joy Behar joins Current TV: Current TV's website says Behar is launching "The Joy Behar Project" on the network in September. In the meantime, Behar is set to host a limited series, "Joy Behar: One Week Only," starting June 18.
