Khloe K., Mario Lopez officially join 'X Factor'It didn't take long for "The X Factor" to seal the deal with Khloe Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez. Earlier this month, a source close to the show told CNN that the pair were in final negotiations to become hosts on the Fox singing competition, and on Tuesday, Fox announced that the two are officially on board.

Sophie Simmons talks 'X Factor' eliminationSophie Simmons didn't make it into the Top 24 after this week's round of eliminations on "The X Factor," but the daughter of KISS rocker Gene Simmons isn't letting the elimination deter her dreams. The 20-year-old singer auditioned because she's determined to make it in the music industry without the aid of her famous dad, and she told The Hollywood Reporter that she's not going to give up now.

540-pound contestant wows 'X Factor' judgesAs Freddie Combs took the stage on Thursday’s episode of “The X Factor,” judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell appeared to lock eyes with each other. The 540-pound, wheelchair-bound minister from Greeneville, Tennessee, who said he almost died in 2009 when he weighed in at 920 pounds, dedicated his rendition of “Wind Beneath My Wings” to his wife of almost 16 years.

Gene Simmons' daughter Sophie auditions for 'X Factor'Every now and then, one of our endless singing competitions stumbles upon the offspring of a celebrity - and, it would seem, with mixed results. On "American Idol" last season, Jim Carrey's daughter Jane tried out during "Idol's" San Diego auditions, only to be swiftly eliminated. And now, on this season of "The X Factor," we're hearing from KISS rocker Gene Simmons' 19-year-old daughter, Sophie.
