'Dancing' crowns its season 14 winner

Donald Driver had a feeling that going country in his freestyle could be the difference on "Dancing with the Stars." He was right.

The Green Bay Packers receiver took home the Mirrorball Trophy on Tuesday's finale, upending singer Katherine Jenkins and actor William Levy in a showdown that many thought was too close to call.

But Driver's country-tinged freestyle routine, which judge Carrie Ann Inaba called her favorite dance of the season, helped the NFL star pull ahead with viewers.

Of Muppets and men on 'The Bachelorette'

Monday's "Bachelorette" began in the dullest way possible with a news report about "The Bachelorette" filming in Charlotte.

And since that had to be the most boring opening in "Bachelorette" history, the show tried again, this time with Emily and her daughter getting together with friends and family at the park.

I get more thrills watching grass grow, so maybe the third time was supposed to be the charm as cameras headed to the mansion to show Chris Harrison corral the 19 remaining contestants for a chat.

A gutsy finish to 'House'

A gutsy finish to 'House'

"House" took a long and winding road to get there, but in the end, the final episode of the series showed what was most important: the relationship between Dr. Gregory House and Dr. James Wilson.

One of the first faces we saw on Monday night (after an extraordinary retrospective special, by the way) was a stunner.

'House' adviser: Why we didn't dumb down the medicine

There was Kutner, in a house which was slowly burning down, looking right at House. (It was a stunner because Kutner killed himself years ago.) Kutner, who represented House's innermost thoughts, soon determined that House was suicidal.

Down to the wire on 'Dancing with the Stars'

It's "Finals Week" on "Dancing with the Stars," which means only one thing - the show won't be coming back until at least September.

The three remaining teams will perform three dances over the course of two nights: the "judge's choice" and freestyle routines that were featured on Monday's show, and a third dance that will take place tonight.

William Levy was first up, and judge Bruno Tonioli wanted to see a cha-cha. And a cha-cha Bruno got as William and pro partner Cheryl Burke performed a high-energy routine that delighted the crowd. To the ladies in the audience, William can do no wrong. But what'd the judges think?

Arsenio takes the win on 'Celebrity Apprentice'

Arsenio takes the win on 'Celebrity Apprentice'

You couldn't find a better matched pair - or two people with closer ties to their charities - than Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall, who managed to make it to the live season finale of "Celebrity Apprentice" on Sunday night.

Clay actually founded his "National Inclusion Project," while the "'Magic Johnson Foundation" was born out of an appearance the legendary basketball player made on Arsenio's '90s talk show (which, by the way, Arsenio announced he hopes to revive).

So the two went head-to-head with competing fundraising parties the same night. Both went with their strengths: For Arsenio, a team of comedians (plus "Real Housewife" Teresa Guidice), while Clay opted for a team of musicians (plus Penn Jillette).

'The Killing': You’re still my BFF

'The Killing': You’re still my BFF

[The following post contains spoilers to the May 20 episode of AMC's "The Killing."]

We’re 22 days into the investigation of Rosie Larsen’s murder with just four episodes left in the season, which means it’s time for the writers to start doing some explaining.

Sunday’s episode waited until pretty much the very end to serve its purpose in the overall story, and I’d say it more or less delivered with information we’ve been speculating about all season.

Looking like me after a game in my weekly soccer league, Holder limps his way through the station and into Linden’s office, where everything has been removed.

Who got scrooged on 'Mad Men'?

Who got scrooged on 'Mad Men'?

It's Christmastime in New York and surprise, everyone's miserable!

Well not everyone, exactly, just Lane. When confronted with jail time in the U.K. for failure to pay back taxes, he went to extreme measures to pay off his debt to Her Majesty.

After persuading the firm's banker to turn on the ol’ cash spigot to the tune of $50,000, Lane played off the influx of cash to the partners as a surplus and suggested the money be parceled out to SCDP employees as Christmas bonuses.

'30 Rock': Setting up for a final season

'30 Rock': Setting up for a final season

[This post contains spoilers for the May 17 season finale of "30 Rock."]

Thursday's season 6 finale of “30 Rock” was good at blending humor and heart, just like Liz Lemon while officiating a vow renewal ceremony.

While Liz was having a Randy-Newman-parody-scored daydream about raising a plant, Criss still felt insecure: “You know what kind of women in their 40s have never been married? Uggos, crazies and bailers. You’re not an uggo, and you’re haha crazy, not 'oh boy' crazy. Which means you bail!”

Meanwhile, Jack and skinny arm-haver Avery were ignoring their problems while arranging their vow renewal ceremony. Liz: “What Bill O’Reilly erotic novel are you living in?”

'Modern Family' stays in the picture

'Modern Family' stays in the picture

With just one week left in the season, "Modern Family" is not resting on its laurels. The show continues to provide memorable moments, and Wednesday's episode was yet another example (I predict we'll see that scene at the Emmys).

Seeing the entire family arguing while portraying a "living portrait" was so evocative of the series as a whole, and hilarious to boot. So, why was everyone so upset?

When Gloria learned that Jay told a waitress things that he didn't tell her, he responded by saying that sometimes she can be a little loud. Gloria decided to start speaking in stage whispers (though it was difficult for her not to scream "Manny!" for a split second).

'DWTS' down to three after surprise elimination

Normally on "Dancing with the Stars," the celebrity with the highest point total should expect to advance to the next round.

Not this week.

TV personality Maria Menounos was bounced from the show yesterday, despite scoring 59 out of a possible 60 in her two Monday routines. Despite the surprise ouster, Menounos was pleased with how far she advanced on the popular ABC talent show.
