We heard rumors back in July that Sean Lowe would be the next to look for love on ABC's "The Bachelor," and the gossip hounds got this one right.
ABC announced Tuesday that Lowe, who competed for Emily Maynard's heart on the last season of "The Bachelorette" and lost out to Jef ("with one F") and Arie, is giving reality show romance another try with the 17th season of "The Bachelor."

The final episode of "The Bachelorette" on Sunday may have been the most disjointed season finale in show history.
Host Chris Harrison popped in and out of the taped finale, dressed in a dark suit that may have been purged from Regis Philbin's "Millionaire" collection.

On Monday, "The Bachelorette" welcomed us to Curacao and the banana-colored hotel Emily was staying in, which for some reason she was really excited to plug.
Em couldn't believe that "three of the greatest guys she's ever met" were going to be with her this week. But enough about Chris Harrison and two random crew members...

Monday night's episode of "The Bachelorette" took us to the Czech city of Prague, because that's what single American mothers do during their free time - travel to Eastern Europe. (Prague reminded Emily of the "olden days" - who knew she was a big fan of the Soviet bloc?)
This week, the six remaining contestants faced a group date and a trio of one-on-one dates. A rose was only up for grabs on the group date, and the men also had to deal with a hotel suite that looked like a furniture showroom.

Monday's episode of "The Bachelorette" brought Emily and the eight remaining contestants to Croatia, which our heroine seemed to suggest was like being in another country. (She wasn't picked for this for her mind, folks.)
As for the men, they were also happy to be in Croatia, even though they probably couldn't find the country on a map. If you asked them Croatia's top export, they'd probably say NBA three-point specialists.
