'Pretty Little Liars' are back for moreAfter an excruciating hiatus, “Pretty Little Liars” is back … and so is Mona. But we already knew that. And now the PLLs do too, thanks to Lucas, another person on our 'Pretty Little Liars' does Halloween rightBetween the dead bodies, the hostage situation and the creepy little girl ghost, there definitely wasn't a shortage of drama on “Pretty Little Liars’ ” second annual Halloween special. Prior to Tuesday's episode, executive producer Marlene King made it clear that viewers would learn a big secret about the night Ali was killed. But in true “PLL” fashion, the Halloween special raised more questions than answers. Here’s what we know: 'Pretty Little Liars' summer finale ends with a bang[This post contains spoilers to the August 28 summer finale of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars." If you don't want to know, skip it till you've watched and then come back!] The summer finale for “Pretty Little Liars” took a page right out of its own book. The episode mimicked the non-linear format of the last mid-season finale, beginning with a body bag being loaded into an ambulance. Viewers barely had enough time to use context clues, as Hanna sobbed from behind the caution tape, before the ABC Family series rewound to two days prior. Intense. 'Pretty Little Liars' are back to square A[This post contains spoilers for the June 5 premiere of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars."] A lot has changed since we last saw our favorite Pretty Little Liars. Emily, grief-stricken over Maya’s death, developed a drinking problem; Hanna and Aria both got haircuts; and Spencer is looking shadier than usual. Yet it seems the girls have learned nothing since Alison went missing at their last Labor Day-weekend slumber party. Seriously, whose idea was it to light candles and sip cocktails at Spencer’s for the night? 'Pretty Little Liars': A's unmasked in anti-climactic finale“Pretty Little Liars” isn’t always an easy show to watch. With additional clues to digest each week and a new character/suspect introduced almost every episode, it sometimes feels like even the writers aren’t sure about A’s identity, or where the series is headed. Still, we tuned in to ABC Family every Monday (previously on Tuesdays) to watch the mystery unfold - hoping that by the season 2 finale we’d have some clarity, and that it would all be worth it. It wasn’t. 'Pretty Little Liars': Suspects on our 'A'-list“Pretty Little Liars” fans have patiently (OK, and sometimes impatiently) waited for answers since the addictive show's premiere in June 2010. And tonight, as the teen drama’s second season comes to a close, viewers will finally find resolve: A’s identity will be revealed. We’re not sure if the hoodie-wearing menace who's been tormenting the girls is also Alison’s murderer, but after 46 episodes of cryptic text messages and puzzling clues, closing just one case ought to be enough to tide us over until next season. |
