“How I Met Your Mother” fans may be divided on the show’s series finale, but they did help the comedy reach one final milestone.

With its last episode on Monday night, the CBS series concluded its nine-season run with 12.9 million viewers watching. That audience also had a 5.3 rating in the advertiser-happy demographic of adults 18-49.

As soon as Kim Kardashian and her fiance, Kanye West, were unveiled as Vogue magazine's latest cover stars, loyal fashion fans demanded to know how it happened.

Josh Charles on 'Good Wife' shocker: I was ready

Josh Charles has some explaining to do.

"The Good Wife" actor was killed off the show during Sunday's episode, and while the showrunners have explained why it happened - sending him off alive wouldn't be enough to keep his Will Gardner away from Julianna Margulies' Alicia Florrick - they also placed part of the blame on Charles' shoulders.

"(W)hen faced with the gut punch of Josh’s decision, made over a year ago, to move on to other creative endeavors, we had a major choice to make," Robert and Michelle King said in an open letter to their "loyal" "Good Wife" fans.
