'New Girl': Passion's overratedThere were a few relationship changes in Tuesday's "New Girl." As Nick put it, Schmidt and CeCe almost made a baby together, while Jess is dating the man he can see himself growing old with. After acknowledging the fact that he’s had a tough year, Nick concluded that the logical thing to do was to plant tomatoes. Because, obviously. But since this is Nick, he of course became obsessive and weird with it. 'New Girl': Will there be a baby Schmidt?Tuesday's "New Girl" was all about the kids. CeCe thought she might be pregnant with a baby Schmidt, Jess babysat Russell’s daughter, and Nick learned something interesting/disturbing about the girl he was seeing - emphasis on the word "girl." Some stuff happened to Winston, too, but his storyline was pointless and boring. Why can't Winston get any plot love, writers? While babysitting the Fancyman's kid, Sarah, Jess tried to bond by having girl talk. Sarah then asked Jess a series of awkward questions: “Do you and my dad ever dry lump? Is sexting cool? Have you done a 99? How do you make love to a person animal style?” 'New Girl': Jess, Fancyman's first fightAfter Jess realizes she’s sort of living with Fancyman, er Russell, she decides that the two of them should spend the weekend at her place. She asks the guys to be normal when Russell comes over, so naturally his stay was filled with awkward moments. Winston landed an interview to be a research assistant for a sports radio host played by Phil Hendrie, who turns out to be a huge jerk. Former NBA player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar works at the radio station, and slides Winston a note that warns him to “get out” and that he “will die” there. The secret's out on 'New Girl'It finally happened: Jess found out about Cece and Schmidt sleeping together! Winston couldn't take the pressure of knowing about Cece and Schmidt and he had to tell someone, so he told Nick: "I saw something a few days ago. I've been sworn to secrecy, but it is just too big." Then Nick spilled the beans to Jess in literally less than a minute. Way to go, Nick. 'In Living Color' revival lines up castThe new cast members of the revitalized comedy sketch show “In Living Color” have some mighty big clown shoes to fill. The two newest players - announced late last week, per Deadline - are actress Kali Hawk, whom some of you know as Shelby on Fox's “New Girl,” and newcomer Jennifer Bartels. Fans may also recognize Hawk from “Couples Retreat, “Bridesmaids” and “Get Him to the Greek." 'New Girl': Dating the FancymanWhen “the smartest guy” Nick knows, Dirk, arrived as a house guest on Tuesday's "New Girl," the roommates weren't the only ones who benefited from Dirk's "wisdom." For example, when Dirk hit on CeCe, she admitted that she’s seeing someone - and that she’s the boss. Dirk then called the guy she’s dating her “sex-cretary." New vocab for us! Except Schmidt didn’t like that nickname very much, and then didn't want to have sex with CeCe. He even told her boobs, “Harold and Kumar," that he’s sorry because they’re not going to White Castle. CeCe was up to do anything, anywhere to seduce him, and they wound up in Schmidt’s “fantasy location No. 3.” |
