Tripped up by transportation on 'Modern Family'There was definitely a theme on Wednesday night's episode of "Modern Family." Between Phil's decision to buy a new convertible (welcome back, Kevin Hart!), Cam and Mitchell leaving Lily's bunny on a subway train, and the disaster that was the Pritchett-Delgado's trip, it was a rough week for the whole family on all modes of transportation. Jay, Gloria and Manny's plotline was definitely the best of the night. Jay first insisted that the three of them fly a small private plane to a gathering with his football pals (the pilot asked for their weights, not realizing there were three of them). So of course, he ended up driving them, insisting that all American music be played the whole way. Sofia Vergara's diet: Not what you'd think...We're normally irritated when celebrities swear they maintain their red carpet-ready figures by eating pizza topped with chocolate chips and Doritos, but as it's impossible to be irritated with Sofia Vergara, we're letting her slide on her so-called "diet (or lack thereof)." If you missed the memo, the 39-year-old "Modern Family" actress is actually a mom in real life, too, and her son Manolo is spilling his mom's secrets on what she eats to maintain that (infamously curvacious) shape. On his NuevOn YouTube show, "Mi Vida Con Toty," Manolo takes us behind-the-scenes of life with his famous mom, who, apparently, "eats like a crazy lady." Meet Cam's dad on 'Modern Family'Greetings again, "Modern Family" fans. I have to say, I expected more from Jay's meeting with Cam's father on Wednesday night's episode. The two of them were dreading this, and when they finally did spend some time together, they spent a lot of it comparing notes on how their sons laughed. Cam and Mitchell, overhearing, confused this for the pair getting along, but it didn't take long before they debated over whose dad was tougher. 'Modern Family' rocks the voteWelcome back, "Modern Family"! It's been a good few weeks since any new episodes, but Wednesday night's offering was worth the wait. It was the big election day for Claire, and as we've seen so often this season, the entire family pitched in to help out. 'Modern Family' stars seeking higher pay?A report suggests that the cast of “Modern Family” wants a raise - a gigantic one. And, the actors may be in a very good position to get paid: it’s contract renegotiation time, and the Emmy Award-winning sitcom is one of the highest-watched series on TV. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the six adult cast members (minus Ed O’Neill, who reportedly earns more) currently make around $65,000 per episode. Ty Burrell and wife Holly adopt second child“Modern Family” star Ty Burrell is a proud new papa for the second time. The 44-year-old actor and his wife, Holly, have just adopted a little girl, his rep confirms to CNN. The pair are already the parents of another adopted daughter named Frances, whom they welcomed in 2010. |
