For everyone who's missed seeing Fred Armisen on late night TV, Seth Meyers is about to be your savior.
The "SNL" alum is bringing his former co-worker along to "Late Night" when he begins hosting the show on February 24.
Meyers announced on Monday that Armisen is going to curate and lead the live band, even when he's off working on IFC's "Portlandia."
As he prepares to take over "Late Night" from Jimmy Fallon, Meyers is surrounding himself with plenty of old friends. His first guest on "Late Night" will be another "SNL" graduate, Amy Poehler.

It was also more impressive in ratings. When we start talking overall viewers, Leno pulled in the highest number he's had since 1998 with 14.6 million watching.

At least, that's what we got from NBC's two promos for their new late-night lineup, which will see Fallon move from "Late Night" to "Tonight" and Meyers move from his weekend "Saturday Night Live" gig to a desk job on "Late Night."

David Letterman has been in the late-night game for years - he just celebrated an anniversary, as a matter of fact - so newcomer Seth Meyers would be wise to listen.
On Tuesday night's "Late Show," the future host of "Late Night" sat down with Letterman, who offered Meyers some advice.
