Cue up the Boyz II Men, “Jersey Shore’s” sixth and final season is underway.
Not unlike past season premieres, Thursday's episode kicked off as the gang prepared for a summer of booze, brawls and one-night stands in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Of course, there were a few notable differences, like The Situation’s sobriety and Snooki’s growing baby bump. (The reality star gave birth to baby Lorenzo in August.)
The "Jersey Shore" cast now has not one but two impending weddings to tan for.
Jenni "JWoww" Farley, like her BFF and reality show co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, is engaged.
Baby Lorenzo took his sweet time arriving on August 26, putting mom Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi through more than 24 hours of labor, but just days after his birth, the newborn was ready for his close-up.
Lorenzo graces the cover of the new issue of People magazine along with his mom, Snooki.
Considering that one of its stars isn't really in a position to live with seven other partying roommates while pretending to work at a t-shirt store - you know, because Snooki's had a baby and all – it makes sense that MTV has decided to end "Jersey Shore" with season 6.
The series that added "fist-pumping," "GTL" and "smushing" into our vocabulary - not to mention giving an alternate meaning to "situation" - will kick off the beginning of the end on October 4 at 10 p.m.
From what we've seen on "Jersey Shore," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is well acquainted with pulling an all-nighter - just not the kind that includes a newborn.
The new mom is getting used to parenthood one tweet at a time, as she updated her well-wishers on Twitter Monday with a post that many parents understand: "Hardly any sleep but SO worth it!"
