Jesse Williams on his hopes for 'Grey's' AveryChanges are afoot as "Grey's Anatomy" returns to ABC tonight at 9 p.m. - the series, shepherded by Shonda Rhimes, is down a few doctors. Both Chyler Leigh's Lexie and Kim Raver's Teddy are definitely done with the series, and Eric Dane, who portrays Mark Sloan, could be right behind them. And the exits could mean more screen time for Jesse Williams' Jackson Avery.

Which 'Grey's Anatomy' actor had a weekend wedding?As if he weren't already adorable enough, "Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams will have fans cooing with adoration over the details of his recent wedding to longtime girlfriend Aryn Drake-Lee. The 31-year-old actor, who portrays Dr. Jackson Avery on Shonda Rhimes' hit ABC medical drama, wed Drake-Lee, 32, in a "romantic, elegant evening ceremony" on Saturday, People magazine reports.

'Grey's' cast expected to return next seasonIt looks like "Grey's Anatomy" fans will have a bit of good news to hold them over until next season. Despite previous concerns over tenuous contract negotiations, Deadline reports that all of the original cast members on "Grey's" are close to signing on to return for another two rounds of the long-running show. When the ink is dry, Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens, Jr. will be ready to reoccupy their dressing rooms - something show creator Shonda Rimes wasn’t sure would ever happen.

Cringe-worthy moments on 'Grey's'Last night's episode, aptly titled "Poker Face" (and not Lady Gaga's), was all about masks, disguises and putting up walls. Meredith and Derek have thrown themselves into their work, yet promised one another that they will not discuss work at home. Meredith - in pink scrubs! - is doing a rotation in obstetrics, which Cristina sensitively refers to as "slumming it" with "The Vagina Squad." After telling Meredith that the idea of her dear friend becoming an OB/GYN makes her "nauseous," she shrieks, "We have standards, Meredith!" Cristina further fuels the fire upon learning that Meredith is involved with the clinical trial by saying, "you're wasting your fifth year playing around with vaginas and mice." |
