Who will Lea Michele kiss on New Year's Eve?Many hold it as tradition to lock lips with someone when ringing in the new year, including "Glee" star Lea Michele. And the newly single 25-year-old already has a plan in place. (Are we the only ones who can picture her "Glee" alter-ego Rachel Berry doing the exact same thing?) “I'm a single girl, so I've brought in my best friend Jonathan [presumably, Groff] to give me my kiss on New Year's Eve," Michele told CNN Sunday.

Lea Michele: I can eat you under the table“Glee” star Lea Michele is fighting eating disorder rumors, telling Allure that despite her vegan diet, she can really chow down. "People get confused, like, you know, I just eat grass," Michele jokes about her veganism in the December issue. Although she's said that her diet does help her stay in shape, the actress tells Allure that just because she doesn’t eat animal products doesn’t mean she can’t pig out. "I'm half Italian," she says. "I can eat some b-–s under the table."

Lea Michele on being a sex scene virginDespite the lackluster response some fans have had towards "Glee" lately, there's still plenty of anticipation for Tuesday's episode. Two of McKinley High's favorite couples - Rachel Berry and Finn, as well as Kurt Hummel and Blaine - are "going all the way," if we were to put it in grade school terminology. (Two parents groups have already spoken out against the episode for portraying teen sex, Entertainment Weekly reports.) CNN caught up with Lea Michele, who plays the super overachiever Rachel, at Glamour magazine's 21st annual Women of the Year awards, and she revealed that she and co-star Cory Monteith (Finn) had a pretty steamy time filming the scene. What's the verdict on 'Glee' this season?"Glee" returned last night after a temporary baseball-induced hiatus, but the lower ratings may suggest that some of you didn't really care. The episode, which featured "Glee Project" winner Damian McGinty as an Irish exchange student/leprechaun to Brittany, a defection from New Directions and a "wait, seriously?" kiss between Puck and his baby's adoptive mom Shelby, declined in viewership by 19 percent since its last original episode, according to the Hollywood Reporter. We've mentioned previously that "Glee" seems to have lost its luster, and the critic reaction to last night's episode was mixed.

Singer Charice's father murdered in PhilippinesSinger Charice Pempengco, the powerhouse vocalist who's also appeared on Fox's "Glee," has suffered a loss in her family. A rep for the singer/actress tells CNN that Charice was informed Monday that her father had been murdered in her native Philippines. According to the statement, Charice and her father "had been estranged for several years but Charice, who has been touring in South East Asia with David Foster, was hoping to reconcile with him." But in light of the devastating news, the singer has pulled out of the rest of her scheduled appearances and departed to be with her family in the Philippines.

Is baseball ruining your TV viewing life?Just when "X Factor" viewers thought they were maybe going to see the inside of Paula Abdul's house, baseball got in the way. A two-hour rain delay for Wednesday night's American League Championship game meant Simon Cowell and Co. got the boot from their 8 p.m. time slot. That canceled two-hour "X Factor" episode will now air tonight at 8 p.m. (unless there's a rain delay for tonight's game, but let's not focus on that for now). To play catch-up, the episode intended to air tonight has been rescheduled for Sunday at 8 p.m....as long as there isn't a game seven. If everything goes according to plan, the third part of the "judges' home" round will air next Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET. |
