Sheldon and Amy make it official on 'Big Bang Theory'Thursday night's "Big Bang Theory" was a pretty momentous occasion for Sheldon, to say the least. Our favorite geek now has his first girlfriend. Amy forced the issue by accepting a date with Stuart, the comic book store clerk. As he said, "She didn't look through me with soul-sucking, ball-shriveling hatred and contempt. I like that in a woman." Sheen mansion snapped up by 'Big Bang' actorGawker reports that “Big Bang Theory” star Simon Helberg and former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen now have more in common than CBS: Helberg just purchased Charlie’s old digs. The renovated L.A. mansion has been on the market since 2009, when Charlie and then-wife Brooke Mueller listed it for nearly $3.7 million. Real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that Helberg and wife Jocelyn Towne paid just $2.9 million for the Mediterranean-style abode last month. Sheldon vs. the bird on 'The Big Bang Theory'As if Sheldon didn't have enough to contend with, he had to deal with a bird outside of his window on Thursday's "Big Bang Theory." His ornithophobia got the best of him, even causing him to use a device that cracked his windows, instead of getting rid of the creature. Thankfully, Amy and Bernadette came to the rescue, explaining that he had to get to know the bird to get over his fear, "just like with the mailman." Kaley Cuoco's celeb crush: Seth MacFarlanePlayboy interviewed "Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco for the December issue’s 20 questions section, and the actress didn’t hold back. The newly-engaged Cuoco shared about her love of nerds, dating her co-star, and pursuing men. Cuoco finds that men are intimidated by her, so she says, “I have to take the reins.” A self-proclaimed “b-h,” the actress details her dating strategy: “I’ll go up to anybody and say, ‘You’re absolutely friggin’ adorable. Let’s go out.’ They usually look at me with giant scared 'Ren and Stimpy' eyes.” The confident 25-year-old adds, "I have to be honest: I don’t think they’re going to say no.” Woman problems for Sheldon on 'Big Bang Theory'Oh, poor Sheldon Cooper. He really bit off more than he could chew when he befriended Amy Farrah Fowler. As he described it on Thursday night's episode of "The Big Bang Theory," "Women. Delightfully mysterious or bat-crap crazy?" It seems Amy was devastated when Bernadette invited Penny, and not her, to shop for wedding dresses. So, she retreated back to her apartment playing a mournful (but hilarious) rendition of "Everybody Hurts" on the harp (and Mayim Bialik confirms that is indeed her playing the harp). A 'boo' battle on 'Big Bang Theory'Thursday night's "Big Bang Theory" saw Sheldon getting the "Bazinga" scared out of him by the rest of the guys (though at first he was unimpressed: "'See you in hell Sheldon.' The most frightening thing about that is the missing comma"). He schemed through the rest of the episode about how to (mostly, unsuccessfully) get his revenge. Even Bernadette took part to foil Sheldon's plans, playing along with Howard, pretending to need medical attention, and Raj wasn't frightened at all when he found a snake in his drawer. |
