Jessica Simpson has no comment on John Mayer's explicit interview
In yet another interview, John Mayer has once again tackled difficult topics such as love, relationships and masturbation. He also threw in a few comments about "Battle Studies," lest we forget that he's a musician and not just a man who apparently has no filter. In a March interview with Playboy magazine, Mayer described at length the hold Jessica Simpson has over him (in his words, she's sexual napalm), and it's left the blonde singer speechless. According to Jessica Simpson’s publicist, Cindi Berger, Simpson is “not commenting” on Mayer’s revealing interview. John Mayer talks girlfriends, tabloids and his sexuality![]() testing captions The soulful and evocative John Mayer sat down for an interesting interview with Rolling Stone magazine, spilling the beans about nearly everything you’ve never even knew you wanted to know. On relationships: John Mayer wants a girlfriend – like, a real life-partner one, he told Rolling Stone. The problem is, when he meets a girl, they’re all, “But you’re John Mayer!” Which means he’s stuck with girls he’s already been with. Poor John. Ladies, if you’re not overcome by his John Mayer-ness and think you’d be a good match, here’s what he’s looking for: FULL POST John Mayer: I'm taking a break from dating![]() testing captions He has dated some of the most well-known starlets in Hollywood, among them, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, but John Mayer has had enough of the ladies, for now at least. The serial dating singer told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, in an episode airing today, that he is going on a romantic hiatus. “Yeah, I'm a little freaked out about dating," Mayer says. "So, I'm just going to let time pass and just do my thing." Mayer admits to Ellen that he has fallen into the trap of dating women who have been more famous for much longer than he has. "For some reason who ever I date has been famous for a while. I can't sit here and be like, 'Oh, please let me live my life in private with this famous person who's been around for 15 years,' " he says. "The last thing you want is to see me doing is bashing my head going, 'I'm shocked, that I'm being followed right now.' ... I'm just going to hunker down.” John Mayer, it's time to pay up...Way back in May of 2001, John Mayer was arrested in Georgia for driving without a license, but that's hardly news. ![]() What IS news, however, is that a mugshot was taken of the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter... a mug shot that has been rather elusive... until now. TMZ.com posted the coveted Mayer photo Thursday afternoon. So why is this eight-year-old mug so compelling? Here's the backstory: Wednesday Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump was arrested in Los Angeles for driving without a license and later released on $15,000 bail. Thursday, Jon Mayer tweeted that he was arrested for the same offense as Stump and posted the following message on his Twitter page to TMZ.com's Harvey Levin: "Challenge: if Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mugshot, I will donate 25k to the charity of his choice." Well, TMZ delivered... and it sounds like the celebrity website is serious about making Mayer deliver on his challenge. The website wants to donate the cash to an animal charity... saying they're close to saving a puppy's life. Do you think Mayer will cough up the cash? |
