Celebrities talk motherhoodNo matter what it looks like in the paparazzi pictures, celebrities don't necessarily have it easy when it comes to motherhood. With Mother's Day being this weekend, CNN talked to a few stars about their takes on parenting. Earlier this week, Jennifer Lopez talked about how her struggles with getting pregnant helped her relate to her character, who's waiting to adopt. Now, some of her co-stars are talking about their experiences with kids. Jennifer Lopez sets dates for summer tourIt’s about to be “muy caliente” this summer, and not just because of the weather. Jennifer Lopez has announced she’s embarking on a summer tour - and she’s taking fellow Latin hottie Enrique Iglesias with her. "It's daunting, a little bit," said Lopez, who'll also be joined by Latin artists Wisin Y Mandel on the road. She told the Hollywood Reporter, "I've always done a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but this is a big musical year for me." Sorry, Internet, but J.Lo's not getting marriedCould J. Lo be getting married again? If you believe everything you read on Twitter, the answer would appear to be yes. The Internet has been buzzing with speculation that the actress/singer and “American Idol” judge could be shopping for a new wedding dress. Did J.Lo use body double for Fiat?Jennifer Lopez’s new Bronx-set Fiat commercial is creating quite a stir. Reports are suggesting that Jenny wasn’t actually filmed on the block in the Bronx as she appears to be in the commercial, which has a storyline focusing on the celeb embracing her roots. Both the star's rep and representation for the tiny car have given similar statements that are vague as to where J.Lo really was when she filmed the ad. Lopez's rep tells CNN that "both commercials featuring Jennifer Lopez were indeed filmed in the Bronx as well as outside locations. As you may know, in today’s world, people are increasingly mobile and their work takes them to a variety of locations. As a result, we took the opportunity to film wherever Ms. Lopez was working at the time to accommodate her schedule." MTV buys J. Lo's new showJennifer Lopez is stepping into yet another career. According to the Hollywood Reporter, MTV has ordered a comedy series script from J. Lo. The singer-producer’s Latina-focused program follows Lina Molina, a recent NYU grad facing grim economic prospects. Lina moves back home with her eccentric Mexican family in suburban Texas. Writer Grace Parra (“Work It,” “Jonas”) will pen the half-hour comedy, which comes from Lopez’s television production company, Nuyorican Productions. The “American Idol” judge has previously produced MTV series “DanceLife” as well as a mini-series broadcast on Univisión. She's also got a reality talent competition series called "Q'Viva" in the works, which is expected to bow in the States next year on Univisión. Jennifer Lopez explains the mid-concert tearsIt may have appeared that memories of past loves made J.Lo become emotional during a recent performance, but the 42-year-old singer has clarified that thoughts of her family, not her men, made her tear up.
The singer graced the stage at a Connecticut event on Saturday, running through a set list that included old hits like "If You Had My Love" and new singles like "One Love" and "Until It Beats No More." As she performed "One Love," a Lopez doppelganger re-enacted moments from Lopez's prior relationships, including those with Cris Judd, Diddy, Ben Affleck, and of course her ex Marc Anthony. "We wanted to do a section of the show that talked about love, and about questions that you have about love still," Lopez said of the act in an interview with "Extra" on Monday. |
