For fans of Adam Lambert, Ryan Murphy has some news to sing about.
The "Glee" co-creator tweeted Wednesday that the "Idol" alum will bring his talents to the Fox comedy this fall.
“American Idol" is marking its 10th year with the help of some very famous voices.
Each of the singing competition's winners — plus a few other favorite contestants — will be featured on the upcoming record “American Idol 10th Anniversary – The Hits.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the album, which drops March 15, includes songs by champs like Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, and Carrie Underwood as well as fan favorites like Adam Lambert and Daughtry, all recorded in their post-"Idol" careers.
He may have shocked the United States with his same-sex kiss on last year's American Music Awards, but Adam Lambert has vowed to tone it down for his upcoming performance in Malaysia.
The Pan Malaysian Islamic Party has reportedly expressed fears that Lambert's show would promote "gay culture" in the predominantly Muslim country, where homosexual activity is illegal, according to the UK's Guardian newspaper.
As a result, the openly gay "American Idol" runner-up Lambert, 28, will make a few alterations at his Kuala Lumpur concert – but he isn't necessarily happy about it.

Roger Widynowski of 19 Entertainment told EW that Lambert had been approached by “Idol” producers to join other top “Idol” stars for the last show of the season - which was also Simon Cowell’s last go-round as an “Idol” judge - but Lambert never confirmed that he’d be a part of the program.
And after he came down with laryngitis over the weekend, Lambert was placed on vocal rest since his own "Glam Nation" tour kicks off June 4, Widynowski said.
In a pre-taped interview and performance, Adam Lambert finally made a return to ABC on “The View” Thursday morning, proving once again that his racy performance at the “American Music Awards” last month was a one-time deal and that he is able to act like a perfect gentleman on-camera and onstage.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg took on the elephant in the room, that Lambert’s interview and performance on the morning show had been pre-taped a couple of days earlier because of network concern over what could happen during a live taping.
