Benedict Cumberbatch's 'Star Trek' mystery

For the Internet, finding out the identity of Benedict Cumberbatch's villainous role in the upcoming "Star Trek Into Darkness" is the final frontier.

However, at one point even the "Sherlock Holmes" actor didn't know who he was playing.

"I didn't have time to read the whole script before I began," Cumberbatch told MTV News.

With a massively successful movie in his rear-view, "Iron Man 3" director Shane Black has set his sights on his next project: Doc Savage.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Black is set to direct an adventure film starring the vintage character from a script he co-wrote.

Tom Cruise signs on for 'Mission: Impossible 5'

Tom Cruise has signed on for a fifth "Mission: Impossible" movie.

Paramount announced in a press release Tuesday that the 50-year-old actor will return to the franchise as Ethan Hunt, a role he first played in 1996.
