According to critics, Kevin Costner's new heart-warming sports flick isn't a bad way to spend a few hours - or, at the very least, it's slightly better than revisiting the talking birds in 2011's "Rio."

'Fast & Furious' getting a theme park ride

Next year will bring a new "Fast & Furious" movie plus a way to experience the thrills (safely) in real life.

On its Twitter account Tuesday the cars-and-criminals franchise announced that a ride called "Fast & Furious: Supercharged" is set to debut at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2015.

'Blue Mountain State' aiming for big screen

“Blue Mountain State” is trying to hit paydirt.

The TV series, which ran for three seasons on Spike, recently announced a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of mounting (pardon the pun) a theatrical version.

“Our fans have been clamoring for another season, but we’re going to give them a movie,” says actor Ed Marinaro, who plays Coach Marty Daniels on the “wild, crazy, bawdy college comedy,” as he describes it.

Remembering the work of Mickey Rooney

It's hard not to picture Mickey Rooney as an affable teen.

The legendary movie star died Sunday at the age of 93, but many fans remembered him for the roles that made him beloved decades ago. Whether it was putting on a show with costar Judy Garland, or offering advice as the kindly retired horse jockey in "The Black Stallion," Rooney lit up the screen and won hearts.
