Cruise camp: Fans weren't paid to cheer for TomThe Mumbai premiere of “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” was said to be packed full of ecstatic Tom Cruise supporters cheering wildly for the movie star, as reportedly was the airport when Cruise arrived in India Saturday. But according to the Hollywood Reporter, Indian papers are reporting that those fans were actually paid extras. And Tom’s camp is fighting back. The First Post Bollywood reports that approximately 200 extras were paid to cheer for Tom, 49, when he arrived in Mumbai. The paper says the “fans” were given 150 rupees a piece (or about $3), plus lunch. Tom Cruise signs on for sci-fi flick 'All You Need Is Kill'?Unlike counterparts Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise doesn't seem to have plans to step out from in front of the camera. The actor is reportedly lining up another project, this time sci-fi film "All You Need Is Kill," according to Deadline. The movie's being adapted from the Japanese novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, and tells the story of an inexperienced soldier who initially gets killed in battle with aliens, but continues to relive the same day as he realizes that the end game could change. Deadline reports that Cruise is working on the details surrounding the deal, but in the meantime, he has quite a few irons in the fire. He's starring in this month's "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" (out December 21), next year's "Rock of Ages" and then his Jack Reacher film, "One Shot," in 2013. Tom and Nicole's teen son Connor is a budding DJThe Daily Mail reports that Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s teenage son Connor Cruise has taken up spinning tunes as DJ C-Squared. The 16-year-old is even getting professional gigs. Connor most recently showed off his skills at the XBOX Miracle Of Music Benefit held in honor of the 2011 American Music Awards this past Saturday.
