According to his rep, Ray J needs some down time.

The 31-year-old recording artist was in Vegas over the weekend for a product launch party as well as Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, and found himself in the hospital early on Monday suffering from exhaustion, his spokesperson tells CNN.

He's still in the hospital, "and will remain there for treatment for exhaustion and jet lag," his rep adds.

John Mayer scoffs when asked about an "unnamed source" who claims his new single, "Shadow Days," was written as an ode to his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston.

"It's weird because I've never told anybody what a song is about, literally," the seven-time Grammy winner explains to CNN. "There's no sources because no one ever asked! At no time writing the song did the engineer say, 'What's that about?' At no time did (producer) Don Was look at me and say, 'Hey Johnny, what's that song about?'"

But if you listen to the lyrics, you'd realize "Shadow Days" isn't about a woman. It's a mantra from Mayer to himself: "I'm a good man with a good heart/Had a tough time/Got a rough start."

ABC's new singing competition, "Duets," may come across as just another singing show churning out vocalists. But one of the show's judges thinks there's nothing wrong with musical talent coming from television.

“Everybody says like, ‘Oh musicians are coming out of TV programs.’ And people are bashing it," Kelly Clarkson told CNN.

"But the reason why I love it, most of the time, is because there is no A&R anymore in the entertainment world. If you don’t make it right off the bat, like if you’re a band that just goes through a label and you don’t make it right off the bat, you get dropped."

Rumors are flying about Raven-Symoné's love life, but the actress/singer feels no pressure to address the gossip.

Last week, a new report surfaced claiming that the 26-year-old is gay, and while she didn't address that report specifically, Symoné wrote on Twitter Friday that she's never talked about her dating life, and she doesn’t plan to start now.

The National Enquirer's reported that Symoné is dating and living with AzMarie Livingston, a contestant on “America’s Next Top Model,” at her New York City condo.

Vogue has earned high praise from past cover model Tyra Banks.

The creator of “America’s Next Top Model” penned an open letter on The Daily Beast in support of the fashion brand's recent announcement that none of its international editors will work with any women who appear to have an eating disorder.

Banks called the position right-thinking, saying that in spite of her historic career in the fashion industry, she’d be considered “too heavy” by today’s standards.

On Thursday, the New York Senate passed a resolution honoring the lifelong New Yorker’s accomplishments, according to MTV.

The marriage didn't work out - and following her on Twitter didn't either, apparently - but Russell Brand says he nonetheless still loves his ex, Katy Perry.

During an appearance on “Ellen” Thursday, the British comedian/actor said he doesn't regret the year and some change during which he was wed to the 27-year-old pop star, and he emphasized that he doesn't have any ill will toward her.

There are reports circulating the Bono was expected to win the title of "world's richest musician" when the stock markets closed today, but the singer is not endorsing that check.

NME reported that the Irish rocker was poised to surpass even Sir Paul McCartney in terms of wealth - and all because of Facebook.

Reports were that Bono owns 2.3 percent of Facebook's shares through the private equity firm Elevation Partners, which would net a possible $1.5 billion now that the company has gone public.
