“Late Show” host David Letterman is opening up to Oprah Winfrey about depression, being the victim of a 2009 extortion attempt, and his highly publicized feud with Jay Leno.
During the interview with Winfrey, who he has also quarreled with in the past, Letterman calls Leno an “unusual fellow.”
“I’ve never met anyone quite like Jay. And I will say, and I’m happy to say, that I think he’s the funniest guy I’ve ever known. … Therefore, the fact that he is also maybe the most insecure person I have ever known, I could never reconcile that.”
The full interview is set to air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on Sunday, January 6 at 9 p.m. ET.

The famed talk show host indicated on Facebook that she dug deep with Kim Kardashian about her two-second 72-day marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries.
With a Billboard record already under her infant belt, it's not a surprise Blue Ivy will be familiar with the finer things in life.
In fact, her dad Jay-Z recently admitted that his firstborn will probably be the “worst, spoiled little kid ever” on “Oprah’s Master Class: Special Edition," which aired Sunday.
Both Jay-Z and mom Beyonce are mega-successful, and then there's the fact that Blue Ivy's also an only child.
